A small girl stood above a mound of dirt, a makeshift headstone—which was really a piece of wood—read, 'Lucy' , nothing else.
"I'm sorry Lu..." she whispered since her voice was still too hoarse from balling her eyes out.
She ran her fingering throughher hair, dragging the two, dull black ties from her pigtails off.
Then, she replaced it with pink ribbon Lucy loved. Pulling up half of her hair she tied it into a knot and formed a small bow.
"I will find that guy, the 10 keys. I promise.Even if I never find Mizu." the girl turned her back tothe grave.
She walked on and on, the dark clouds above her only got darker—it was almost as if they felt what she felt.
By the time she found a town, it had already been raining for an hour.
"I'm drenched..." she whimpered as she sat down in front of a water fountain, "I don't h-have any money Lu...what do I do...?"
A tear fell from her eye, hitting the cold pavement under her, but she had already cried enoughand the ground already had enough water on it.
So instead, she hid her face in her knees, trying to wipe her tears away, "I-I know I said I'd f-find him, b-but Lucy? W-Where am I supposed t-to start?"
"How bout' Fairytail?" a voice startled Aka and she looked up to meet the gaze of an old man.
The wrinkles on his skin gave no clear indication of how old he might have been, but a the gentle smile on his face made the girl warm inside.
He had a hand outstretched to her, his voice was calm—it was soothing, however, the little girl didn't know what to say.
"W-What?" she asked hesitantly and the man did not complain.
"Fairytail. It's a magic guild, you've must've heard of one before." the girl slowly shook her head.
"Y-Yeah...I h-have."
His smile grew at her answer, "But, we're not just any magic guild, ya see?. Fairytail is a place for the lost too, we're all family."
