Annie's pov

After that day that I opened up to Johnny we've been hanging out a lot. He's been hanging out with everyone. He goes to my school now. He's basically became the most popular boy in school. I enjoyed it, because I knew it wouldn't last. He's always traveling.

Today I woke up with a sour throught and stuffy nose. When my alarm clock went off I slammed the snooze button and rolled over. I groaned. My mom came into my room and shook me softly. "Annie, come on. You don't wanna be late for school." She said. I rolled over to look at her. "I don't feel good." I said. She nodded. "Okay baby, what's wrong?" She asked. I positioned myself to that I was holding myself up by my elbows.

"Probably just a cold." I said my voice cracking. "Okay, we'll get some rest. I'll make you some tea then I'll call the school before I go to work." She said. I nodded. She kissed my forehead before leaving the room. I got up, brushed my teeth and blew my nose. Then mom walked in with the tea.

"Mom, I don't like tea." I complained. She shrugged and placed it on my bedside table. "If you want to get better, you should drink it." She said. I nodded and went to sit on my bed. "Well, I gotta go to work. Oh and me and your dad are both working late and Hayley is going to a sleepover. Call if you need anything." She said. I nodded.

Great, I'm sick and I'm gonna be alone. She kissed me on the cheek then left. I laid back down and rubbed my eyes. I then fell to sleep, forgetting all about the tea.

When I woke up I woke up it was 8:02 am. Great, I only slept for a hour. I sat up and noticed the still full cup of tea. I rolled my eyes and took the cup downstairs. When I stood up my head started to hurt real bad. I placed my hand on my head and groaned. I made my way downstairs.

I dumped the tea into the sink and went back upstairs. I went into my room and into my bathroom. I brushed my teeth again and brushed my hair. I noticed the bags under my eyes and groaned.

I had to do my morning routine, even if I was sick. Pulled my hair into a messy bun and rubbed a face mask on my face. I grabbed my phone and plugged my headphones in. I got dressed in black sweat pants and a camouflage tank top. I started to dance a little. I left my bathroom to see Johnny standing there. "Ahh!" I yelled. His eyes went wide. I ripped the headphones out my ears. "Woah Annie, calm down it's just me." He said.

"What are you doing her" I asked. "To see you, duh." He said. I rolled my eyes. "What's on your face?" He asked. My opened my eyes wide. I totally forgot about the face mask. I run into my bathroom and looked in the mirror. I looked hideous. My face was covered in a green bumpy mess. I quickly peeled it off.

I heard him laughing. I rinsed my face. I grabbed a towel and walked out. As I walked out I dried my face. "How'd you get in?" I asked. He grinned. "The backdoor was unlocked." He said. I nodded akwardly. "Why aren't you in school?" I asked. "I left. You weren't there and nobody knew why." He said. I nodded. "So your sick?" He asked. I nodded.

"Well, I'm staying for the day." He said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I meant what I just said." He stated. I laughed. He laughed too. Then i coughed. "Sour throught?" He asked. I nodded. "I'll make you some tea." He said standing up. I shook my head no. "I hate tea." I said. He shrugged. "I hate the fact that your sick." He said before walking downstairs.

I groaned and fell back onto my bed. Then I smiled and blushed. He went out of his way to cut school and come here......for me.
Then my dog Piper walked in. I might as well take a Instagram post. He said nobody knew why I wasn't there. He must've asked around. That made me blush more. I took a picture with Piper and put a caption of I'm sick.

Then Johnny walked in with mug of tea. I groaned and he left. "Come on Annie just drink it." He insisted. I took a sip of it and as it went down it soothed my throught. It wasn't bad. "Not bad." I said honestly. He say beside me. "I used to make tea for my grandma all the time." He said.

I nodded. "Lucky her." I said. He smiled and I blushed. "So, wanna watch TV or something?" He asked. I nodded. He grabbed my computer and opened it. Then I yelled, "No!"
