It has been a year since Mark got out of the hospital. This time, Jaemin has gotten injured though.

Apparently, he has been coughing a lot and talking about his broken back. Luckily, Jeno took care of him. He's always the one looking out for Jaemin.

On the other hand, we have Mark. He has been. . . avoiding Haechan. Because of what happened last year, he doesn't want it to happen again, or else it will ruin his career. And not just his career, in fact, the group and SM too. So, he just stayed away from him unless he has to go near.

"Dinner time." Taeyong barged in. Mark was busy playing some games while Haechan was just texting someone on his phone. "Mark Lee. Let's go." Haechan said. Mark rolled his eyes since the round was about to end. "No. The round's almost over anyways." Mark said. Haechan scoffed and crossed his arms. "Last time you said that, you came out after dinner." He argued. "Why do you care anyways?" Mark argued back.

"B-because..."

Mark smashed his right hand on the table and went towards the young one. "Tell me, why do you fucking care?!" He yelled as his fists started to clench.

"I-I.."

"TELL ME!"

"I can't. I know you just hate me more."

"I don't fucking care. Once we find that photographer, I'll leave NCT. I just want this to be over anyways." He said as looked away.

Haechan went closer to the boy but he pushed him away. "Don't. I don't want to feel love or something..." He said. He passed by the younger and left his room to eat dinner with the other boys. Haechan sighed as he got on his bed. Haechan bit his lower lip and let the tears out. "I love him but he doesn't want me anymore. He doesn't need me. I don't need him. I hate you so much Mark Lee. But we both know that, we love each other." He said as he placed both of his palms on his face.

"I love you so much."

"Check on him dude." Taeyong told Johnny. The older shook his head since he was hungry. Taeyong knew Mark well, so he didn't want to ask. He asked everyone else besides him. The dinner was awkward since everyone was so silent. A few seconds later, Mark broke the silence. "I'll check on him." He said. He got up and went to his room just to see him.

When he entered the room, he saw Haechan lying down on his bed, crying. "You okay?" He asked softly. Haechan nodded but he just wanted the boy to go away. "I feel like you are always the reason why I am hurt so much Mark Lee. My heart keeps breaking beacuse of you. I keep avoiding you but I can't. You are always the one that hurts my heart whenever I need you. I just want you to be mine Mark Lee. I just...need you." Haechan said. Mark sighed as he tried to ignore his words but he couldn't. "Tomorrow." Mark said. The younger rose his head and gave him a confused look. "Tomorrow?"

"Yeah, tomorrow. We will go out. Just the two of us."

Haechan nodded. Mark urgued the younger to eat since he kept coughing after his crying session. He just gave him a weak smile and responded with a yes.

"Are we there yet?" Haechan asked. Mark just smiled at his complaining throughout the whole car ride. "No, not yet." Mark said. Haechan groaned as he just looked outside the window. "We're going to the Han River." Haechan said, "Do we have our masks and caps?"

Mark nodded as he parked his car in the Han River parking lot. "I've been here multiple of times and why bring to a place where boring people go?" Haechan asked. He scoffed and crossed his arms as he waited for Mark's response. "Because, out of all your times here, this will be the best one." Mark said. Haechan just rolled his eyes and went out of the car with Mark. "So. . . Where exactly are you taking me to?" Haechan asked. Mark dug through his stuff and gave Haechan his mask and cap.

"I don't to get caught again. So, we better watch our surroundings. Plus, I don't want him to catch us." Mark said in a deep voice. Haechan gave him a confused look but just moved on. He put on the mask and cap and so did Mark. The older told him to follow him. "You still haven't told me yet, Mark Lee." Haechan said.

Mark ignored his voice and finally brought him to a tree. "It's just a tree Mark.. Why are you bringing me here?" Haechan asked. He kept asking questions, which annoyed the older, but he apparently gave up. "Did I just come here with no reason?" Haechan asked. "For the last time, shut up will you?!" Mark turned around. He grabbed the nearest flower from the tree and placed near his place.

"It's called a promise tree. So, if you get a special flower and placed it near the tree, you close your eyes and make your promise." Mark said with a smile on his face. Though his back was facing the younger, he couldn't see his cute smile.

"How would you know if the flower is special?" The younger asked. Mark got up and turned around to look at the confused one. "You have to know if it's special." Mark said. Haechan became much more confused. "How about this flower?" He asked as he pointed towards a random dandelion. "What does your heart say?"

"What?"

"I mean l-like-wha-what does your heart say?" Mark explained. "It says. . ." Haechan had a great plan since Mark was acting like he was in a movie, "Nothing."

Mark's mouth was hung low and just sighed. "Haha! Fooled you!" The younger one yelled. "Oh, you'll regret that you donkey!" He yelled as he started to chase the younger.

But during their chaotic moment, a flash came on. "Sir, I found them. They're. . ." He trailed off as he squinted his eyes for a better view, "Chasing each other."

"Good. Send me the photo and I will post it on the newspaper and news. I'll tell their manager." The guy in the photographer's walkie-talkie said.

"Copy that Mr. Park."

"Over and out, Mr. Kim."
