My hand shakes as I grab hold of the rope. I skillfully and quietly tie it into a noose. My heart pounds inside my chest, my mind screaming for me to stop. I ignore my mind because my gut knows if I do not do this, Tyler will pay.

I look up at my father, Nico, and let my eyes fill with tears. He gives me a blank stare, I know he doesn't care what happens. Regardless, he is a man of his word, and I know Tyler will be free as soon as I am gone. I look at Tyler sadly.

I can tell he wants to stop me, but we both know it's too late. As soon as I am gone he will forget this ever happened. I finish the noose and stand up on the small ladder provided. I gulp and start to cry as I place the noose around my neck.

My leg kicks wildly, almost instantly, and the ladder collapses. I gasp for breath and scratch at my neck. It hurts so much I want to cry. My vision starts to dot and my legs kick about. My fingers bleed from attacking the rope. My vision goes dark.

I try taking in more air but I cannot. I am greeted with silence and darkness. My arms lay limp to the side. My mind goes fuzzy. I realize it is all over and for once in my life I don't feel scared.
