Skip one year
I woke up next to Artemis. We decided that the day before and the night of the karaoke party Artemis would stay at my house. Well...palace. I decided not to wake her up because she looked so peaceful. She's beautiful. I stayed in my t-shirt and sweatpants and went downstairs. I went into the kitchen and saw Mary making breakfast. She was back from vacation! "Mary!" I cheered. "Percy! We need to find Artemis so we can have a group hug, even though she practically lives here." She said. "Artemis is still asleep." I said. "I was supposed to wake you up an hour ago but instead I got picture." She said giggling.
Mary is around 18, dating my brother and really nice. She plays hide n' seek with Artemis and I. She showed me the picture and in it I had my legs intertwined with Artemis' and she had her head buried in my chest and my face was in her auburn hair. I blushed at the sight of it. "Aww!!! Little Percy's got a crush!" Mary cheered. (Mary is Emma Watson) "Maybe." I said.
Mary started laughing so I went to wake up Artemis. I stood over her and gently shook her. "Art wake up." I whispered to her. It wasn't working so I went to plan B. I bent down and kissed her cheek.
She woke up straight away and saw me. "Hey Perce." She said. She got out of bed and went downstairs. I followed her and when I got into the kitchen Artemis was blushing at the picture of us.
We both sat down and Mary brought over three plates of pancakes. There was a lot more for the rest of my family. As if on cue my family walked in. After we ate we just stayed in the kitchen and talked. "Mary, do you wanna hear the song we sing every year for the karaoke party?" I asked.
"I would love to." She said.
We sang it for her and at the end the whole family was clapping. We talked a little longer then Artemis went upstairs. We changed and practiced for about an hour then decided to go on a walk. We were in the middle of the village when we saw some kids playing.
I looked at Artemis and we smiled. We climbed a building. Percy always carries Riptide and Artemis carries a bow and a quiver of arrows that holds any arrow you could imagine
We sat on the roof of the building and Artemis pulled out a message arrow that wasn't pointy and instead had a suction cup. I'm surprised we were breathing after climbing this building. It's like 5 levels. Artemis held the arrow to my face as I spoke into it. "Can we play with you?" I said into it.
Artemis shot it and it stuck to a boy's forehead. It said the message and the kids were looking down. Artemis shot a zip line arrow at the ground and mounted it on the roof. I took her bow and she wrapped her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist. She put her face in the crook of my neck. She doesn't do well with heights.
We zip lined down and when the kids saw us they bowed. "Please don't bow." I said. "Percy, are we down?" Artemis asked. "Yeah Art." I said. She got down but was still hugging me. "Artemis...can't...breathe." I said struggling for air.
"Why did you have to make me do plan P?" Artemis said. "Plan P?" A girl asked. "We go onto a roof and shoot one of those arrows at a kid's forehead and then zip line down.
They introduced themselves. "I'm Jason, Son of Zeus." The arrow kid said. "Yay I know one of my brothers." Artemis said sarcastically. "I'm Thalia daughter of Zeus."
"I'm Grover. I'm a satyr. Poseidon let us come down here for vacation." The satyr said. Then I heard my walkie-talkie. "Come in Bluebird." I heard Mary's voice. "This is Bluebird and Auburnsilver. BFchef do you copy." I said. Artemis giggled. The other kids looked confused. "I'm hiding, come find me." And at that the signal cut.
