" you'll never realize it's value untill you loose it..." Mack's words came to my head while a text from Eric popped up.

Him: I'm going out for lunch. Are you free?

I wrote back immediately. ( I don't know why I did so!)

Me: I am
Him: pick you up or meet you there?
Me: meet me there. Does 11.50 work?
Me: sure. See you then.

When I got there I saw him waiting for me.
" Nice dress" he said as i seated.
" Thanks. It's a birthday present from Mack."

Neither of us spoke untill the food was served.
" I thought of what you told me yesterday" I broke the silence as it make both of us uncomfortable.
" You didn't get it" he said looking straight at my eyes.
" What if I tell that.. yes you're..as the answer?"
" You mean that you too are having feelings for me?"
" What if I tell yes?" I couldn't help laughing because I too can't understand what my mouth is telling. Or else it might be my heart... I don't know...

" You asked me what if you tell yes... So.. my answer is..if you say yes, you'll be rewarded right now...." Before I could say anything back,  he took my hand closer to him and slightly kissed it. " Thanks Emma" and whispered softly.

"Actually.. No need to thank... I don't let anyone if I hadn't loved for a long.."
" Me neither" he answered.

"Ohh my goshh!! What did I do? Do I love him? But anyway it feels good!" I whispered to myself while returning to the office.

When I got there, I saw mom was waiting for me. Well now I should answer..

" Where on Earth have you gone?" She asked.
" Mom I just had lunch..." I replied not so MUCH amazed with her sudden question.
" With?" She raised her eyebrow. " With Eric.... anything wrong with it..? I mean can't I have lunch with an old friend?"
I asked exhausted with her Q and A. " No no never mind. I just came to meet dad. Bye sweetie"
And she left...
