My life is a literal nightmare. I can't stop thinking about what Cedric said last night. Ugh if only that idiot hadn't visited me last night, I wouldn't be freaking out right now. What does he want to talk about?! Is he going to expose my feelings? Use it for his own benefit as blackmail so he can get what he wants? I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be having this break down in the middle of class if I at least knew when he was coming to talk to me. At least then I could be ready with some lie to tell him, because no way in hell am I going to tell him the truth.
Or should I?
No that's stupid! Then I'll fall into whatever trap is coming up with at this very moment! There's gotta be another way out of this!
"Hey Cat." Cedric interrupts my thoughts as he gave me a friendly smile. "I hope you haven't forgotten about yesterday. See you after class." I'm clearly the biggest dumb-ass on this planet. How could I forget I had a class with Cedric?! I'm such an idiot! That's why he didn't tell me when he would talk to me. He just assumed he would catch me after class. God what am I going to say to him?!
I turned back, looking where he had sat down. He immediately noticed I was looking at him and gave me a cheeky grin along with a little wave. Before I could see what he would do next, turned around with a furious blush on my face.
Bastard. Who does he think he is?! It doesn't matter. Since I don't have a choice anymore, I'm going to give him a piece of my mind.
"Alright everyone." A loud booming voice pulled me out of my thoughts. "Let's jump into today's lecture." I managed to focus all throughout class without thinking about the idiot or what I was going to say. In fact, I was so focused on keeping up with my professor's lecture, I had little time left to dwell on what could happen. In fact, I had almost forgotten about the whole thing and just went straight to the door.
"Cat." I jumped as I heard my name, then quickly turned to face the owner of the voice. Cedric was standing next to me with a determined face. "Where are you going?" Panic spread over my face, but I was able to masked it by scrunching up my face into a scowl.
"To my class." I said rather quickly. "It's in five minutes so I gotta hurry."
"Well I won't take much of your time." Shit. He really wasn't going to let me get out of this.
"Look I don't want to be late to my class so-"
"Do you like the cinema?"
I stared at him, furrowing my brows together. That's definitely not what I expected him to open up with. "Um yeah who doesn't like going to go watch a movie...?"
"Well..." He pulled out tickets out of his bag and showed them to me. "These are tickets for the movie theater that just opened up a couple of weeks ago."
"Huh?" I stare at him with a blank expression. "Are you...um offering me a ticket?"
"I'm not. I'm offering you two." I squinted at him suspiciously. Just what exactly is he playing at?
"Okay cut the crap. What do you want?"
Cedric gave an amused chuckle. "The third one is for Rosalinda."
"I thought I told you I didn't want to get involved."I scoffed then harshly pushed the tickets into his chest. "I'm not going to help you get a date-"
"It's not a date." Cedric interrupted, looking rather flustered. He quickly composed himself then let out an awkward cough. "I'm just trying to figure something out. It doesn't count as 'help'."
"What?" That was interesting. I looked up at him curiously, trying to make out his expression. "Just what are you trying to figure out?"
Surprisingly, his cheeks flushed bright red; he turned his head to the side, covering his face with his hand. "Nothing." He quietly muttered out. Guess this guy is a big softy when it comes to his feelings. It was almost cute to see him react like that. Almost.
