Nadia Turner stared out the window of the empty high school. It was pouring out, and the fountain in the courtyard was starting to overflow, pushing all the discarded pennies that had been thrown into it in hopes of a longtime wish coming true, being washed up and away, out of sight and out of mind.

She had no clue where Aidan and Lauren were. They were supposed to meet her before they went to the event. Nadia sighed, she really didn't want to leave them, but she was going to if they didn't hurry up.

"Aidan! Lauren! Wait up!" Johnny called.

Aidan and Lauren turned around. John was running to catch up with them.

"What's up John?" Aidan asked, quirking an eyebrow at John's sudden urgency.

"Is it true Lauren?" Johnny looked at his sister, "Everyone is talking about it."

"Is what true?" Aidan was confused with what was happening.

"John you're gonna have to be more specific," Lauren responded, "What's true?"

John lowered his voice to a whisper, "That you're, you know.. like her?"

"Like who?" Aidan asked.

"Brynn," Lauren smirked, "He's asking if I'm gay."

"Well, are you?" John asked, "Because then you should maybe, you know, dump Will if you are."

"I am," She responded calmly, "I told some of the people in my homeroom, couldn't be bothered to keep it a secret anymore."

"Wait, so then the other rumor is true," Aidan interrupted, "The one about you saying you liked Nadia?"

John's phone began to ring, "Shit, it's Carson, I need to go. You guys should too."
