Chapter 6: [Redacted] Draws Near

(Y/n) P.O.V

All we did was look into the steam as our enemy began making their way towards us.

Sherry: "The Cold Emperor ordered us to eradicate the village and its people. We were trying to show mercy by making your deaths quick and painless. But since that didn't work, we have to resort to bloodshed." she revealed to us.

Yuka: "Fifty villagers, three wizards, shouldn't take more than twenty minutes." he told his comrades.

Natsu: "You ready?" he asked us as he prepared himself to fight.

Lucy: "Yeah." she said ready to grab a key.

Happy: "Count again, cause they're four wizards!" he told them.

Me: "I can still have a bit of amount of magic left in me." I stated still panting from the amount I used to create the barrier.

Lucy: "Are you sure?" she asked looking over to me.

Me: "I'm not going to sit around while the person I'm still technically overseeing fights. I'll be able to slowly regain my magic in a few minutes." I reassured her.

I could still see the look of uncertainty in her eyes as she looked at me but she only nodded her head. As we were prepared to fight, Moka stepped forward.

Moka: "How dare they... such disrespect... they kicked up Bobo's grave!" he yelled trying to jump forward only to be restrained by some other villagers.

They quickly picked him up as the villagers began to leave the area to allow us to fight freely. As they began to retreated into the forest, I noticed the once unconscious Gray began to stand up. 

Gray: "Let... me help you." he said to us.

Lucy: "Gray! You came too!" she said in surprise.

I looked over to Natsu, who was already looking at me. I only nodded my head as I took a step back. The injuries he has would use up the remaining magic energy I had left and that still wouldn't solve the fact that you already used up most of his energy fighting earlier.

Me: "You're in no condition to fight Gray." I told him.

Natsu: "Yeah, that's not going to happen. We don't need your help." he announced as he began walking over to him.

Gray: "Natsu... don't do this me-" he tried telling him.

Natsu wasn't hearing any of it though as he slammed his fist at Gray's gut.

Natsu: "Just lie down and get some rest." he told him.

Gray: "Someday... I'll...... kill." he said before walling unconscious in Natsu's arms.

Lucy: "But why?" she asked in confusion.

Happy: "He's giving Gray some tough love. Natsu knows he's in no condition to fight, so he had to stop him." he revealed to her.

Lucy: "That means... deep down, they really do care." she said.

Me: "Everyone in the guild is family, we may fight or hate one another, but we still look after each other." I told her.

I looked over to the three still walking towards us and I floated my book in front of me.

Me: [The God of wind send forth a wind to push the steam around the heroes in the path of those who are evil creating a wall.] I wrote in my book.
