Chapter 8: Con Job!

[Autobot Base]

The base is shown from above before the main area is shown inside. It'd been about two months since the kids met the bots and had begun being under their protection. Jack, Cassie were off talking with Raf while Arcee and Bumblebee were chatting. Ratchet was doing his usual job, manning the base and making sure the bots did their chores. Bulkhead walks around the corner carrying Miko on his shoulder as she begins talking.

"Alright, Chores are done." Miko says, "Now can we do some dune-bashing?"

"I don't know, Miko. Last time, I spent a week picking sand out of my articulators. Uh, but there's a monster-truck rally in town." Bulkhead says.

"Ooh." Miko says.

"Optimus, I'm receiving a signal on a restricted band. It appears to be coming from a starship inside this solar system." Ratchet says and he scans it, "It's an Autobot identification beacon."

"So there are other bots out there?" Jack asks.

"The masses scattered to the galaxies when Cybertron finally went dark, but cons have been known to bait traps with false beacons." Arcee says.

"Unknown Vessel, this is Autobot Outpost Omega One. Identify yourself." Optimus says into the Comms.

"I've had warmer welcomes from Decepticon combat brigades." A voice replies.

"Wheeljack?!" Bulkhead asks.

"Whoa!" Miko says as she almost falls off his shoulder.

"You old Con crusher! What are you doing all the way out here?" Bulkhead asks.

"Bulkhead? That you? What's with all the security?" Wheeljack asks.

"The rock we're on is crawling with Cons. How soon can you get here and even the odds?" Bulkhead asks.

"Sometimes tomorrow if I put metal to the pedal." Wheeljack replies.

"Another bot's coming here. How cool is that?" Miko asks.

"Wheeljack – I know of him by reputation only. Can you verify his voiceprint?" Optimus asks.

"He is 1,000% the real deal, Optimus." Bulkhead says.

"We will send landing coordinates, Wheeljack. Safe journey." Optimus says.

"See you soon, buddy!" Bulkhead says, "I'll make sure you get a proper welcome!" Ratchet ends the communication with a beeping sound.

"So, who's the boyfriend?" Arcee asks and Bulkhead laughs.

"Me and Jackie go way back. We were part of the same war unit, the Wreckers, which means the cons are gonna wish he never found us." Bulkhead explains.

"This should be fun." Cassie says and she looks at Jack before they both look at Bulkhead and Miko.

A rock theme song begins as a road is shown and Optimus Prime is shown driving. Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Ratchet and Arcee race by before Optimus is shown transforming into his robot form and the group is shown standing in front of the moon. "They see you as small and helpless..." Optimus is shown standing alone before light flashes and Jack is shown riding Arcee who was in her bike form as he's shown standing alone as well as standing with Arcee in her bot form. "They see you as just a child..." Miko and Bulkhead are shown standing the same way before Raf and Bumblebee are shown the same way. "Surprise when they find out that a warrior will soon run wild!" Cassie is shown standing as she is shown looking up at Ratchet before she flashes to standing with the entire team and the four kids flash to wearing some kind of tech suit to make them stronger. "Prepare for your greatest moments!" Light flashes and Raf is shown turning away from the computers before he jumps over a railing and is caught by Bumblebee who catches him but throws him up to transform and Raf lands inside Bee's front seat. "Prepare for your finest hour!" Miko is shown running before she jumps up and is caught by Bulkhead when he spins around with his door open after he transformed. "The dream that you've always dreamed is suddenly about to flower!" Jack and Cassie are shown running and they jump onto the back of Arcee as she rides towards them. Everyone races through the ground bridge. "We... Are... Lightning!" Light flashes and Megatron is shown attacking while Starscream is shown transforming and he flies towards them. An explosion reveals the team. "Straying from the thunder!" Light flashes and Cassie and Jack are shown talking as Arcee sat nearby letting them be alone as Cassie rests her head on Jack's shoulder. "Miracles of ancient wonder!" Light flashes and Cassie, Jack, Raf and Miko are shown running from Cons as their Autobot friends are shown protecting them. "This will be the day we've waited for!" Flashbacks of the war on Cybertron are shown as Arcee is shown watching her previous partner's death with wide eyes. "This will be the day we open up the door!" The kids are shown opening the door to reveal Soundwave and Miko takes a picture of Soundwave as she held up her phone. "I don't wanna hear your absolution!" Optimus Prime is shown as a less experienced bot trying to talk to Megatron who turns his back before he turns into the Megatron the team knew now. "Hope you're ready for a revolution!" The team is shown attacking with blasters as they battled Decepticons. "Welcome to a world of new solutions!" Cybertron is shown before it's spun around and turns into Earth to show a new location. "Welcome to a world of bloody evolution!" Light flashes and Optimus is shown running towards Megatron on the battlefield. "In time, your heart will open minds... a story will be told and victory is in a simple soul!" Megatron and Optimus are shown bringing their blasters against one another as they try to punch one another creating a blast of light that reveals the title transforming out of darkness to say: 'Transformers Prime – Heroes of Earth – All Characters minus Cassie belong to Hasbro' where the first part was in big letters while the extra part was smaller.
