Rosalia gasped and jumped as she was awoken with a start. Her tentmate had been shaking her, apparently for a while, until she finally got up. She looked at the time and jumped out of bed. They were supposed to be at the campfire in two minutes. She got a mini lecture from Alex about not getting up earlier and it made her feel really bad, if she didn't already. She had told Alex she could get ready in less than two minutes and was going to keep her word.

Rosalia quickly got everything out of her bags and got dressed. She brushed her hair and teeth then rushed outside. They made it to the campfire right on time, luckily. There was a discussion over the rules for getting breakfast then they were free to go where they wanted. Rosalia tried to find Alex, but there was no use. There were too many people. She saw a group of people who looked nice and went over to them, as she actually knew one of them. She introduced herself and smiled as they did. Their names were Ricky, Jacklyn, Robert, and Monciella. She already knew Jacklyn, which made her feel more at home.

Once everyone had been introduced, they started talking about how they were going to get breakfast. Ricky and Jacklyn had been to the camp before, so they suggested going to the lake and fishing. Everyone liked fish, so they agreed on that. They got fishing poles and headed to the lake. Jacklyn showed the group her favorite fishing spot and they were soon baiting their hooks and casting their lines. They quickly caught enough fish to fill them up and decided to cook the fish and eat them at the lake, instead of dragging them back to the campfire.

Jacklyn taught Robert, Monciella, and Rosalia how to clean fish while Ricky started a fire for them to cook the fish. Rosalia was a fast learner and Jacklyn was impressed. They soon had their fish all ready to cook and the fire glowed bright red, so they started cooking the fish. Ricky was an excellent cook and the fish were cooked to perfection, golden and smelt amazing. Everyone's mouth was watering as they waited to be served. Once they were given a piece of fish, they dived in and devoured it. Everyone was stuffed and tired when they finished eating. They cleaned up and headed back to camp.

When they got back to camp, it was time for another campfire meeting. Normally, the camp would put on a play, as Rosalia found out, but this time was different. Everyone was to get into groups and the groups would put on individual plays. Once everyone heard this, they scattered around like cockroaches trying to find food and kept on like this until they found a group. Rosalia wasn't one to force herself into a group, so she simply waited until all the groups were formed to find one who needed people. She noticed Alex and headed over to her. There were only four people in her group, so she might need an extra hand. She waved to everyone and smiled at them, but was soon taken a back at the odd group.

The first thing she noticed was a guy wearing a strange hat, which she later found out was a fedora. She didn't know what kind of hat it was at the time, but it looked to her like the kind cowboys wore. The next thing she noticed was a guy who just seemed off. He was smiling at her, but there was something in his facial expression that made her believe he was hiding something. Finally, she noticed a girl who was shorter than her, which was a bit unusual. Rosalia wasn't short, but she wasn't tall either. Everyone she knew towered over her, or it felt like it. This girl was smiling and seemed happy. Maybe a bit too happy, but that was what most people thought about Rosalia.

Once everyone in the group introduced themselves, she started to understand why they were all friends. The guy with the fedora, Justin, was bisexual, which made Rosalia understand why he acted like, well, a girl in some ways. However, that wasn't a bad thing, as Rosalia didn't care whether you liked guys or girls. It didn't matter to her. The other guy in the group, Tony, was also bisexual. He didn't act as much, well, like a girl, so it surprised her a little when she found out. The girl she hadn't yet met, Lizzie, she didn't know whether she was bisexual or not, though she didn't really care, but she seemed to be more full of energy than any girl she'd ever known.

They decided to start talking about what kind of a play they would do and everyone exploded with ideas. Well, everyone except Rosalia. Sure she had plenty ideas, but she was afraid of sharing them. What if they don't like my ideas? Will they kick me out of the group? Maybe I should just lay low. Yea. That's what I'll do. Unfortunately for her, Alex noticed and called her out, asked her if she had an idea. "Well, I... I do have one. What if we do a play about all different time periods and incorperate a song into each time period?" She didn't expect them to like it and they didn't. They loved it. They all started raving over the idea and discussing how it would work and which songs they would use. Rosalia smiled and looked at the group. "This is the start of a beautiful friendship." Everyone nodded in agreement then went back to talking about their ideas for the play. As she watched, Rosalia couldn't help but chuckle at how excited and full of energy everyone was. It was beautiful, almost poetic, the way they got so excited over the littlest things. Yes. This was the start of something beautiful.
