Chapter 13

[It was the next day of school, the last day of the week.]

[Jongin woke up from bed and looked at you. ]

Jongin: Lina~~~ Wake up~~ (smiling)

Lina: (moaning and groaning) No... Five more mintues.. (shoves your face back into the pillow)

Jongin: Babe, we're gonna run late if--

Lina: (interrupt) Babe??? ( sat up)

Jongin: Y-yeah.. What's wrong with that name?

Lina: I told you already.. I wanna take things slow..

Jongin: I know.. that's why I'm going to slowly make that an everyday vocabulary, for you, from now on. ( smiles super cheesy)

Lina: (chuckles) That's cute and all but..

Jongin: But what?? ( smirking)

Lina: But... I still feel like it's to fast...

Jongin: Fine.

[Jongin got up and acted like a little upset toddler and stomped his feet all the way to his room in a cute way, then closed his door.]

Lina: (face palm) Oh my goodness. .

[ You get out of bed and get dressed for school. Jongin was waiting for you downstairs. ]

Jongin: Ready? You got everything?

Lina: Yup!

Jongin: Okay. ( smiles and holds out his hand for you to hold)

[You smiled, knowing that he wanted to hold hands, so you slapped his hand giving him a "five" and walked out the house first. Jongin was irritated and locked up the house and walked after you.]

Jongin: (clearing his throat) Lina??

Lina: Hmm?

Jongin: So... What are we???

Lina: Humans. ( looks at him and started laughing)

Jongin: *tsk* No, That's not what I meant..

[You just continued to laugh]

Jongin: Oh my gosh.. Never mind. ( walked faster)

Lina: (stops laughing) Yah! Jonginie! Wait, slow down.

Jongin: (stops walking for you to catch up) What?

Lina: I'm sorry.

Jongin: Seriously?

Lina: Yes, seriously.

Jongin: So what are we?

Lina: Why does it matter at the moment?

Jongin: Cause it just does. And you didn't even want to hold my hand earlier.. I thought we are taking things slowly and I am. Holding hands is taking things slow. It's not like I am wanting to kiss you or anything else.. (getting upset and irritated)

[Jongin starts walking again until you grabbed his hand and intertwined your fingers together and began walking with him. Jongin looked at you and smiled slightly cause he was so happy.]

Lina: (looking straight forward) I don't want you to start thinking that, I'm starting to dislike you and that's the reason why I want to slow things down.. I want to slow things down cause we really don't even really know each other.. I mean, Come on.. We don't even know what each others favorite color..

[Jongin looks down and continue to walk without saying anything.]

Lina: I want to like you for you and maybe, just maybe, love you for you and not for something I would want you to be or I don't want to over expect things from you.. You know??
