Helplessness, something that [F/n] had only felt once or twice in her lifetime. This was an emotion that seemed to rise in her throat as she continued to look at both Reiner and Bertholdt, who were currently standing in front of her. Both of them looking a bit sad, though it was mostly Bertholdt who looked that way.

"What do you guys need? We're meant to be heading off to bed"

Neither of them responded to her, only dragging her gut feeling lower down than before. She opened her mouth once again to speak, only to be cut off by Reiner slamming his hand against her mouth. She furrowed her eyebrows and quickly brought her hands up to his own trying to rip it off her mouth.

"[F/n]...we're sorry"

Bertholdt muttered, causing her attention to be back onto the taller boy. To say [F/n] was confused was an understatement, there were so many things this could mean. The only thing she thought of at that moment was that they were going to, in some way, hurt her. And she had known that she wasn't as strong as the both of them combined, which only made her feel worse.

"W-What-"

She struggled out, still fighting Reiner's hand. Bertholdt looked back at his friend, wondering if this was really something they should be doing. But of course, by now Reiner's mind was already clouded, having the thought of finally being able to go home in his mind. With nothing more to do [F/n] felt Reiner's grip on her mouth slip away, allowing her to pull in a long breath of air. She didn't even try and go after them when the two began to walk away.

"Cadet [L/n]"

Turning around she noticed Moblit, who seemed to be fidgeting where he stood. She picked herself off from the ground, acting like nothing had happened before she turned her body to Moblit.

"Yes?"

"Hange needs you in her lab"
