Chapter 1 - Start Over
•Sam POV
"Dr. Ferris will see you now", the receptionist said calling their names. Sam's stomach tightened with nerves as the woman leads them down a small corridor to an office.
The office was as beautifully decorated as the reception area. It had a very comfortable at home feel without being too stuffy. There was a desk with two seats in front of it, but off to the side it also had a comfortable looking chair sitting across from an equally comfy looking sofa with an end table separating the two.
The office was done in warm colors that made Sam almost unconsciously begin to relax as she entered the room. It was a professional yet welcoming space.
The receptionist told them to take a seat anywhere and make themselves comfortable.
"The doctor will be right in", she said before she closed the door on her way out.
Tyler and Sam opted for the two chairs in front of the desk. Sam took a deep breath steadying her nerves. This won't be so bad. She didn't know why she was so nervous.
"Babe", Tyler asked from the seat next to her, "is this really necessary?"
Oh yeah, that's why. Sam sighed shaking her head fondly, "Ty
don't start.""Minnie", Ty whined causing her to smirk at the use of his old nickname for her. "I love you, can't we just talk about our problems at home."
She rolled her eyes at him. "Tyler you already agreed you would do this for me, just to set my mind at ease, remember."
"Yeah yeah, I remember", Tyler pouted as he slouched down in his chair.
Sam resisted the urge to roll her eyes again as she shifted in her seat to be facing more towards Ty. Although she could say many things about his behavior she decided to keep them herself.
Even though he was pouting like a child she knew he wasn't as serious as he made out to be. That has always been one of her favorite things about him. She loved his playfulness and the way he could be so childish yet he was still very responsible.
She decided to just sit and observe her husband. 'Husband', even after 5 years it still shocks her that he is hers and she is his. Sometimes Sam just can't believe how lucky she is to have married the love of her life.
Sam looked at his long lean body stretched out in the chair next to hers. His beautiful light sandy brown skin sprinkled with freckles that she loved and he hated. He had perfect pink lips, that were currently pouting, hiding a dazzling white smile. Her favorite feature is his piercing blue-grey eyes that were currently focusing on his phone as he checked emails from his job.
Ty was only getting more beautiful as time went on. He still just as handsome as the day they met. She smiled to herself thinking of then.

"Shut up, Amya", Sam said as she laughed her roommate as they walked across the Quad.
"What? I'm just saying", her friend laughed with her. "Just because we are freshmen that doesn't mean we are stupid or easy. I mean come on now. Come correct. You know I don't suffer fools lightly."
Sam laughed and nodded as she listened to her friends rant totally agreeing. "And his game was so weak too", Samantha added turning her face up in disgust.
