Camila Morrone

Leo's current girlfriend is the 21-year-old actress and model (quelle surprise!) Camila Morrone. They were first spotted cosying up together at Coachella in April 2018 and appear to still be going strong nearly two years on as they were spotted linking arms on a sushi date in LA.

Bridget Hall

Model Bridget Hall and Leo were alleged to have hooked up as teens in New York in 1994. Media reports suggested that he took her virginity, something she has vehemently denied. FYI – Bridget was Leo’s first foray with a Victoria’s Secret model.

Brittany Daniel

Remember Sweet Valley High? Well, Leo bagged himself one of the blonde twins circa 1994. Brittany Daniel (aka Jessica Wakefield) appeared with a young Leo in The Basketball Diaries, filming a scene where her character seduced him. She was 18, he was 19 and their on-screen chemistry spilled over into real life. At least for a while.

Naomi Campbell

It was 1995 and just about every teenage girl had a poster of Leonardo Dicaprio on their wall. Around this time, the actor was busy flirting with Naomi Campbell, before the beautiful couple decided things would work better if they were just friends. That’s Victoria’s Secret Model Number Two.

Kristen Zang

Model Kristen Zang was one of the major relationships of Leo’s life. The pair were together for two years from 1996, and during his meteoric rise to fame following the success of Romeo + Juliet. The actor flew her to the Titanic set for romantic reunions and was uncharacteristically candid about his feelings. "I can’t wait to see her at the end of the day," he said. "She is the cutest girl in the world!" Apparently the pair split up because Kristen couldn’t cope with a relationship in the limelight, but she and Leo are still good friends.

Claire Danes

Claire Danes was famously Juliet to Leo’s Romeo so we HAD to include her in his ladies list. While their on-screen chemistry might have left us teary-eyed, the actors apparently didn’t get on so well off-screen. Rumour has it that Claire found a 22-year-old Leo “very immature” and the pair would ignore each other between takes. Claire surmised that maybe they doth protest too much. “There was definitely a spark, but I don’t think either of us knew how to handle it. So, we sometimes sort of ignored each other. It was too big for us to really accept.”

Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet and Leo both experienced the mania surrounding Titanic in 1997 and it made them incredibly close. The actress says the secret behind their friendship is because they never hooked-up and that Leo always saw her as “one of the boys”. The actor too, has nothing but praise for the actress, saying: “I cried on her shoulder many times as we found the demands of filming under the director James Cameron so tough. We have never not been friends since that time. I speak to her all the time. But friends – not lovers.”
