kululu X male human reader : dont be so cold

you sat on the couch. watching sergeant major kululu typing away furiously at the keyboard of the laptop he had sitting in front of him. he.. wasn't normal. hell, who am I kidding how in the hell could a space alien frog be ' normal ' in any sense?. kululu distanced himself from everyone. even his platoon somehow even though they are around him almost all the time. he enjoyed torturing the green keronian Sargeant and others from time to time. he fascinated you in many ways. you were caught staring at the yellow keronian as he turned his head. seeing you staring at him. he let out a light " ku. " before returning to typing at the keyboard. you looked away in embaressment due to you being caught staring by the yellow keronian. 

( kululu's POV ) 

I turned my head from my coding and saw Y/N. he was a pekoponian. E/C eyes and H/C hair. not too different from a normal pekoponian from what I've seen. at least visually that is.  for some reason he was staring at me. a light ' ku ' escaped me as I looked back to the computer sitting in front of me. I went back to coding. ignoring the intense stair of the pekoponian. I don't know why he was staring at me. 

( normal POV ) 

you kept staring at the keronian. deep in thought " are you gonna say something or keep staring like a creep? " he asked. turning away from his computer for a second with his little yellow hand up to his mouth like usual. you blushed in embarrassment " heh sorry kululu. I was just curious " you said. " curious? of what? how long it would take to stare at someone to make them creeped out? " he said. " n-no. I was curious about you. and why you are different " you said. " why are you so interested all of a sudden?" he asked. " I've always been ' interested ' but I never thought to actually ask until now " you said. " how am I supposed to know? I'm not a phycologist " he said. he continued to type at the computer. you sat next to him on the floor after turning on a gory movie to watch. 

( time skip by a few weeks) 

as time went on you watched kululu. sitting next to him while he typed away at his laptop and chat or you would turn on some gory movie to watch with him. he may not show it but he was opening up a bit.  " hey Y/N how do you get along with kululu so well? " natsumi asked. " how we get along? " you asked. " mhm! people have tried to talk to him but he sorta just shuts them out " fuyuki said. you hummed. " he doesn't want to get along with you until he feels like he can. he needs to feel like he can trust you I guess? I don't really know myself, he is still a mystery to me " you said. " not shuu! its time for me and kululu's movie night! " you said. they left the room and you went down to the base. " kululu! its movie night tonight and I got some really gory movies! if you wanna join me ill be in the living room " you said. " kukuku~ ill join you in a few minutes Y/N, i just need to put the finishing details on my new ray gun kukuku~ " he said. you walked back upstairs happily. it was strange, you had started to develop feelings for the insane yellow frog. you knew it was wrong, considering he and the others were planning to take over earth and enslave you all. but you couldn't help it really, it was odd to you. I know its weird. being gay for a yellow alien frog. but there was something about him you would never find in normal guys on earth. so why not give it a shot? a little while later you and kululu started movie night. 

( a few days later ) 

kululu had been acting strange. more then usual. lately, he has been avoiding you. acting up but never speaking. everyone had tried to speak to him. you were the last one to go into his room. " kululu? " you asked. 

( kululu's POV ) 

" kululu? " I heard Y/N's voice. I didn't turn around to look at him. even if I wanted to. he sat beside me. looking at what I was building at the moment. " you have been acting really strange lately.. " he said. I huffed a soft " ku " and continued. if I just ignore him I bet he will be running out of here in tears. kukuku. " did something happen? why don't you talk to me anymore? " he said. I felt something in me flinch at his words. " did I do something wrong kululu? why are you being so cold? " he asked. why did I feel guilty? I hated this feeling and wanted to push it away. I shoved it down into the back of my head and continued to screw in parts and attach various parts to my invention. i kept trying to ignore him. he was just staring. not speaking for like half an hour or something. his E/C eyes practically sparkle. how can i be cruel to that? they sparkle with adorability! it was even worse then angol mois staring!

( normal POV ) 

you felt like he was pushing you away. just as you felt like you were making progress with him he suddenly just avoids you all together. you sighed. " if you ever want to talk, ill be here okay? " you said hugging the frog from behind. he flinched at your touch. " damnit you stubborn pekoponian " he said. " why can't you just leave me alone? I want to be left alone okay? now leave " he said. you frowned softly at him. " if you want to be left alone il give you that space " you said. " wait, you're just gonna leave? just like that? " he said. confused why you weren't being persistent like everyone else. " because I know you like your space " you said. "I know the narrator called you sinister and stuff " ( hold mind that 4th wall break ) you said. " and I don't believe that you are sinister. I think you just need the right person to see the good in you " you said. you went to walk out of the room. " wait " he said shakily. you turned to him. " yeah kululu? " come here " he said. you walked over to him and sat beside him. he motioned for you to move closer. you got a little closer. " now what is it- " your eyes went wide as you saw the frog grab hold of you and hug you. it surprised you. " tell anyone I did this and I will deny it with everything in my body and then destroy you. " he said. you couldn't resist the moment and kissed him. he let out a gasp. you pulled away. " I-I'm so sorry! i-i didn't mean to kululu im so so so sorry " you said. he grabbed hold of your shirt collar and kissed you back. you smiled into the kiss softly. your heart racing from the contact. you kissed him happily. you pulled back. " so. wanna watch some movies? " you asked. " let's stay in here for movies though. that way no one will interrupt. kukuku~ " he said. you pulled the frog into your lap as the large screen in front of him turned onto one of both your favourite gory movies. 

( okay. a little ooc. yeah i know TvT but its hard to get kululu's personality correct ;v; hopefully the others will be more accurate TvT i hope you liked this first oneshot. most ( most likely ) coming soon )
