It had been two weeks since Jungkook had confessed his love for Jimin and it had been bliss ever since. They spent every night talking endlessly and kissing constantly. The one thing that Jungkook didn't notice was that Jimins heat hadn't come. Normally his heat came before the week before the full moon and it never came. Jimin didn't know what that meant but he knew it wasn't good. When Yoongi came next he would ask him about it but now was not the time to dwell on it too much. It was going to be a long night as it was.

Tonight was the monthly full moon celebration and Jimin couldn't help as his hands shook while he attempted to close up his robe. Jungkook stood outside his door, the prince had requested he did since the same guard always came to collect him. The guards name was Kang-Sung and was a particularly evil wolf. He shared views with The King and saw Jimin as nothing more than a filthy omega that was good for nothing. The way Kang-Sung looked at the prince always scared him. Like he was ready to kill him at a moment's notice, he thought himself above the small prince simply because he was an alpha.

Once he finished dressing in the lavender clothing that the handmaids had set out for him, Jimin stepped out of his room quietly. Kang-Sung stood across the corridor waiting, a smug look on his face that gave Jimin the creeps. Beside him, Jungkook stood tense, he had protested the idea of Jimin going without him but it was not their choice. Jimin hated the Full Moon celebrations, there was no point in his attendance at all. He was not permitted to speak to anyone, or look in their eyes. He sat in a small chair next to his mother for three hours and said nothing.

The handmaids came out wearing their red dresses for the occasion and looked down at the floor. They all knew that Kang-Sung would have no problem causing problems for them. In fact he would take great pleasure in causing problems. Usually the Celebration went off with no problems, Jimin knew how to keep to himself enough to please his father, at least as much as he could please him. The best scenario was that his father wouldn't notice him tonight. That he would come back to his cage without a single problem, but something inside him said otherwise, a churning in his gut told him that tonight would be different.

During the quiet walk to the palace Jimin couldn't help but look up at the full moon. His father and the alphas who attended the Celebration would have gone on a hunt just moments prior. It was tradition, the richest and most powerful alphas would gather with The King every full moon. They would let their wolves take control and go for a hunt then returned for the celebration in the main hall in the palace. The wolves could change as they pleased but the full moon was when they were most powerful, Jimin however was not allowed to let his wolf out. So he often wondered what it would be like to hunt on a full moon. To let the wolf take over and run as fast as he could go.

When they reached the main hall, everyone stopped dancing and talking. They bowed their heads to the floor as the herald by the door announced, "Presenting His Royal Highness Jimin Park, the omega Prince of Neugdaeui Ttang."

Jimin looked up as Kang-Sung stood aside and saw the familiar sight of a room full of faces refusing to meet his own. Except three, Jimins mother, father, and brother sat on thrones on the far side of the room. His parents sat in the two largest chairs in the middle, both wore blue silk robes with golden crowns on their heads. Their gazes on Jimin, full of disgust and contempt. JiHoon sat at their father side. He wore black robes, a sword attached to his left and a small silver crown similar to Jimins own on his head. Jimin kept his gaze forward as he crossed the room, his handmaids and Kang-Sung right behind him. When he reached his family and took his place on the small throne next to his mother, his father called for them all to continue.

For the first few hours, the celebration went as it always did. Everyone danced and drank, they chatted amongst each other. Every now and then an alpha would come up and greet The King, always paying their respects to The Queen as well. They would always bow to Jimin slightly before walking away and returning to the celebration. The dangerous part was that after a while and quite a few drinks, some of the alphas would get bolder with their greetings or sneak a look at Jimin. He tried not to notice and focused mainly on the furthest wall in front of him.
