"HELP! SOMEBODY GET ME OUT OF HERE HELP ME!!!"
I watched as father walked around the white walled and white tiled laboratory, preparing for later's session, as he took one of the syringes placed on top of a tray along with other syringes filled with liquids of different colors. He took the one with a clear liquid.
"The noise is rather disturbing. Would you mind going to my pet and give her this" He held out the syringe and flicked it a couple of times, eliminating the air bubbles."Tell her to be patient, the procedure will happen in a while." He handed the syringe to me and I walked out of the room.
"GET ME OUT!!!NOW!PLEASE!"
I walked down the white bricked hallway, my feet tapping against the floor, making a sound with each step I made. The noise grew louder as I went closer and closer to my father's new pet. I stopped in front of the last cell and faced the keypad on the cell's metal gate. I opened the slot on the gate and looked inside.The noise stopped.
"Please move away from the gate" I watched as the girl stood up and backed away from the gate, her tired eyes locked on mine. I punched in a code on the keypad and opened the gate.
"A-are you here to let m-me out?" she whispered, her voice shaky and weak.
"No"
She started to sob as she grabbed my shoulder. "Please...P-please! Why are you keeping me here?!"
"My father chose you..." I answered as took her hand off my shoulder and placed it on mine. I positioned the syringe on her wrist. "...to be his new subject"
"But I didn't want to be chosen"
I froze, and tried to stop myself from...laughing, which was something I haven't done in a while. This pet's different, unlike the others who try so hard to knock me out with their pathetic punches and useless kicks."Of course you didn't. Who would want to".Sympathy. That's odd.I finally inject the serum in her vein.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! STOP THAT RIght now...." she tried to pull her wrist away but was too late.She slumped down on the floor.
I was facing the door, ready to leave when she asked me.
"Am I going to die?"
I opened the gate and went outside. "Yes" I answered before closing and locking the gate.

I walked back to my father's lab and saw that everything was in place and ready to use. He was in the corner of the room, seated behind his desk, drinking a cup of tea. "Is my pet ready?"
I nodded.
"After I finish my tea I want you to get her and lay her on the table." Father said after taking a sip from his cup. "The procedure will begin in half an hour, for the mean time, rest"
Rest. Rest is another word for "Go to your room and wait until I'm ready for my experiment"
I nodded and turn around, leaving the room and closing the door behind me.
My room isn't that far away. Within this white bricked wall are 3 gates and 3 doors. One of those doors is my room.As I walked down the hall I heard knocking on the cell in front of my room.
The last cell
It's the pet.
I faced the gate and slid the small rectangular slot in front of my eyes. I jumped back as 2 eyes greeted me.
"I'm...hungry" the pet spoke. I regained my posture and walked back to the cell.
"What would you like me to do then? Feed you?"
"Uhhh...duh" she replied as she rolled her eyes and walked away from the slot. I went near and looked inside the cell.
"FEED ME!" the pet jumped out of nowhere and made me let out a muffled scream as my hand automatically flew over my mouth. I jumped back so far that I hit my room's door. The next thing I heard was loud laughing.
HOW DARE SHE MAKE FUN OF ME. I AM THE DOCTOR'S SON AND SHE'S JUST A SILLY PET.
I walked over to the cell and slammed the slot shut. Never again will I answer to that pet's calls.
"Oh are you mad now?" I heard the pet say as I reached for the door handle.
"Wow, I'm sorry, I didn't know you were a coward..." she said, and from what I've heard, she sounds like she's trying to stop herself from laughing. "But I'm hungry...seriously I am" she continued. I turned around and opened the slot. I saw her standing in front of the door, her arms around her stomach. She looked at me.
"Starve"
I closed the slot, went directly inside my room and shut the door.

"Sehunnie~"
"Sehun~"
"Wake up sweetie, we need to leave before your father wakes up"
I opened my eyes and the blurred face of my mother greets me. I blinked a few times to make my sight clear but after doing multiple blinks my sight remained foggy. "Mom?"
"We have to go now"
I felt a tug on my arm and let my mother pull me off my bed. "Mom where are we going?" Confused and sleepy, I tried to look at my mother's face.
Scared.
Her bright and caring face looked scared and stressed, making me confused a lot more. "Mom what's going on?"
"We have to go now sweetie, while your father's asleep" I looked at my arm. Her thin pale hands surrounded by faint veins of blue had a strong grip around them, I looked up again. "Please Sehun, just follow me....trust me okay?" She tried to smile for me but her tears fell and her face looks so tired. I nod and follow where my Mother took me.
We went out of my room. The familiar white bricked hallway blinded me as we ran down and up the flight of stairs located behind a heavy steel door found beside my father's study.
"Just a little more sweetie and we're free"
Free from what?
I kept quiet and followed her upstairs. I noticed that we didn't bring anything. No bags, no luggage, nothing. As soon as we reached the top my mother unlocked another heavy steel door and pushed it open.
I saw a weird looking room. The floors were made of wood. Long chairs and some tables surround the room. Then I realized this is what a room from the outside must look like.
"Mom are we going back?" I asked as I looked at her face.
"Yes" a deep voice behind us answered.
A scream.
