Seducing Prince Charming

Chapter 2

                 "Are you sure you want to do this?"Cai asked,doubt clearly written all over her face as she nudged lightly on the waist of the girl beside her.

                   "Isn't it obvious? The girl's been waiting long for this day."Elaine replied dully.

                 Their sight was fixated on a certain golden boy at a distance.The boy,oblivious to the incoming trio,was guaffawing heartily to pointless jokes.Unbeknown to him,his actions was sending intoxicating sparks down a girl a few foot away from him.His heavy swedish accent was honey to her ears,his dazzling smile sent her legs feeling like jelly.

                     Flora's grip tightened on her tickets in her palm slightly crushing them and closing her eyes,she nodded with her lips pressed in a firm thin line.If she had to ask him out to the dance,it had to be done this moment.There was not much time left ticking on the clock.Anytime now,the History teacher could step through the classroom doors and commence the class to begin.By then,she can successfully kiss her long-awaited night goodbye.

        Gulping a huge amount of air,Flora tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear and  began to make her way to Will.As she swerved past her classmates who were talking and walking around,she could feel Cai and Elaine,her two best friends,eyes trailing her back.Without looking at their faces,she can tell that they were silently rooting for her.Silently cheering her on.The voices in her surroundings seemed to fade from her ears,as she approached nearer and nearer towards Will.

                      "Will?"She squeaked.

                       At the mention of his name,the group of boys turned to face Flora.She could feel herself dying a little in the inside when he made direct eye contact with her.Glancing at her,Will replied,"What's up,Flo?"

                       He and his sexy swedish accent.

                       Looking at the group of boys sitting around him,scrutinising at her,she felt nervous.Mustering up her courage,she asked,"Can we speak outside? Please?"

                     Flora saw his eyes widen in surprise but was quickly disguised with a blank unreadable look.Wolf whistles chorused and flirty looks were shot in her face.She clenched her teeth,doing all she could not to slap the living daylight out of every single one of them.She caught  Will shooting death glares at them before plastering a fake smile on for her.

                      "Um...Sure."

                       The pair proceeded outside,tension increasing between them.She turned to face Will bashfully,rehearsing the simple words in her mind she had practiced in front of her mirror dozens of times.Flora snuck a glance at Will timidly,to see him looking down at her in bewilderment with his hands stuffed into his jeans pocket.Behind him at the door,she could see a flash of orange fabric which could only belong to Cai's sweater,giving away the eavesdropping girls.

                      Taking a deep breath,she began,"Will,I know this is really sudden."Will nodded slowly in reply,his face clearly showing how bored he was.

                       "And I would like to ask if you would like to come to the 'Summer Soiree' with me?"She blurted the words out,biting her lips so hard she could almost taste the metallic taste of blood in her mouth.The orange figure at the distance was now jumping lightly with anticipation,beady eyes glued to them.Flora watched as Will's face morphed in surprise,lips parted to form an 'o'.For the slightest moment,his face relaxed as if flattered.Her heart was beating so hard,she thought it would break through her ribcage any moment.The grip on her tickets grew stronger by the second,reducing them to no more than ordinary crumpled paper.
