*Jisoo's POV*

It's been 2 hours and the doctors just finished running some tests,

"Detective Kim, we did the tests, and the results just came back, and She kept asking to call in her parents, So I had to call them, they will be here any minute, and I'll talk about the results", oh god

"Yeah sure Doc"

*25 minutes later*

"WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER!?", I heard a very heavy voice, Its her dad

They rushed into her room, I can hear cries, I walked into the room with the doctor, all eyes were on me, then the doctor decided to talk

"Okay, so we did some tests, and Mrs. Kim is fine, all the test came back with a positive feedback, the only thing is, she has a little short term memory lost, probably an effect of the blood loss", he said

"THIS IS YOUR FAULT!!", he yelled pointing at me

"Mr. Park, I-im S-sorry"

"NO , YOU DONT GET TO SAY THAT, WHAT IF SHE DIED!??", said her mother

"I-i don't k-now", i said crying

"Mom, Dad ,can you guys stop?, she's sorry, I don't know what she did but she's sorry", said Chae

"She took you away from us sweetheart", said her parents

"What?, I didn't, that was yo-

Before i can even finish my sentence Chae cutted me off

"Jennie!!!, Lisa!!!!,"

I looked at them

"You can remember us chae?"

"Of course, how can I forget my best friends"

" You can't remember me?", i asked, and she shook her head and started to talk to Jenlisa.

*2 hours after*

"I can't believe your married and you guys are planning to have a child already!!", Chae said with excitement

"Woah!, hah, we're not planning to have a child yet, it's just a discussion heh", Lisa said, and i could see Jennie wanting to hit her head but she held back and put on a fake smile,

"Well, everything seems fine, you can be discharged today", the doctor said

"Great, we'll take her home"

"I don't think that's a good idea, I suggest she goes home with her wife that she cant remember"

"What!?, No"

"Thats the best way to bring her memories back, to be surrounded by her daily activities, With her wife, because it seems as though she is missing the past 5 years of her life, before Detective Kim made an appearance in her memories, so her being with her wife is the best solution", he explains

Her father sighed and looked at me
"If you hurt her, I won't hesitate to get you killed", I gulped

*2 hours later*
I fetcher her bags that I packed for her to use at the hospital to the porch and opened the door, she walked in after me and i turned around to look at her, we then walked to the living room,

"It's so cozy, I love it, the designs are so beautiful"

"You did them", i said while smiling

"I did?"

"Yes, everything, even the bedrooms, you love to do interior designs"

"Is that my job?"

"What?, no, thats just a hobby you do from time to time, you're a vet, you own your own clinic"

"Wow really!?, I love animals!!!"

" yes you do, you have a pet fish too, his name is orange, you wanted a dog at first but we both agreed to have a fish because we would be too busy to have a dog, and thats why you taught your pet fish how to do tricks", she laughed

" I did?"

"Yes, I remember you being frustrated", we both laughed

"I-um, you bedroom is the first room as soon and you go up the step, I'll sleep on the couch, and if you want, tomorrow I can carry you to your clinic, you don't have to work, the doctor said you should take at least 3 months rest"

"What about you?"

"Well, I'm a Detective, I've been a Detective for 4 years, sadly I have to work, and Lisa is my partner I met you through her, she introduced us when I was still a cop"

"Wow, a Detective, never thought I would marry one"

"Heh, well um, if you need anything, call me", she nodded and started to walk up the stairs, but then stopped mid way and turned around to look at me

"Um.... I never quite got your name, heh"

"Jisoo Kim" I said

"And I'm Chaeyoung Roseanne Kim?"

"Yup" I said, she smiled and went to the bedroom

I sighed and sat down on the chair, these next few months are gonna be hard, and Her parents will be on my dam case 24/7, I don't hate her parents, They hate me, see, they always wanted their daughter to marry a Doctor Or a business man, but she didn't, she fell for me and we got married, then never really talked after, we both agreed to never speak of what happened.

I was lost in my thoughts until my phone rang

"Detective Kim", I answered

"How is she?", I heard Lisa say

"She's not against anything, she is calm, I think we can co-operate", i said sadly

"It's okay Chu, she will remember you"

"I hope so", i was about to speak again when I heard a little voice from the other side of the phone, It was Jennie's voice.

"Daddy, come out from wherever you are"

"Shit, she's gonna find me" I heard Lisa said

"Chu I gotta go, before I get caught and my energy will be sucked from me", she said and hanged up

I sighed again, and laid down on the couch, my eyes grew heavy, and before I know it, I was asleep.
