Never thought about most things so closely
Just simple meaningless things, mostly
But after lying around so lonely
This appears rather ghostly
A card
Emitting a link to something that feels lost
A yesterday that feels like an eternity
Closing my eyes, slipping from reality
My heart and mind leaps readily
To where the world seems brighter
My body is so much lighter
No weight on my shoulders
I don't feel like Atlas anymore
Being the world's holder
Wishes of returning to such a moment
Is what I continue to lament
If only time would cease to be my opponent
Then I would fix so many things I resent
Only done, by this memory card

Summer Thoughts
PoetryMore poems I happen to write while during the summer. Of course all won't be going with a "summer vibe." Just my mindset and feelings while in these schooless months.
