Nico just stared, eyes narrowed a bit to show that he was not pleased with this new information.

I mean, How could he be pleased? He was just told that his mother, Maria di Angelo, was from a powerful wizarding family. Wizards and witches. Every demigod knows how dangerous they could be. Its basic knowledge. No demigod should be in a twenty meters radius of a witch or wizard if they value their life.

And that wasn't even everything. He was apparently supposed to go on a undercover quest to the UK. To hunt down horcruxes. Nico was running this information in his head over and over again, trying to convince himself that this was some sick joke that his dad and Hecate had come up with.

Said gods were standing in front of him in the cold throne room in Hades castle. Torches of greek fire burned on the walls, casting a green light that made everyones faces look a bit sickly. Hades sat on his throne, his cold black eyes focused on Nico. He had an unreadable expression on his face, but his eyes reflected a tiny bit of regret. Hecate stood beside the throne. Her dark hair flowed in a non-existant breeze and at her feet sat two animals, a dog and a polecat. She was honestly pretty beatiful, in an ageless and godly way.

Nico realised that he probably had been standing on the same spot for a good three minutes giving his dad a death glare and should probably give the gods an answer. The only thing he manages to say is an intellegent:

"uugghhhhhh.... what?"

This caused Hecate to chuckle a bit and Hades mouth to twitch a tiny bit.

"The only problem with this quest is that there is a prophecy regarding one of the horcruxes. This means that Tom Riddle is destined to lose at a specific time in the future. Thanks to Apollo we know that the final battle will take place at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and Wizardry and that the school has several ties with the horcruxes. This means that we are going to send you there, undercover as a student. I believe that this is a wonderful oppurtunity for you to learn more magic and become stronger!" Hecate said.

She seemed pretty happy about this, Nico thought. The same could not be said about Hades. He seemed pretty angry.

"you're sending me to school. Full of wizard and witches... You know we have a hate-hate relationship with them right?"

Hecate just raised an eyebrow and continued talking.

"If you accept this quest, I will grant you the knowledge of a 15 year old wizard, together with some information about the wizarding world and about the quest itself."

Deep down, Nico knew that it was impossible to deny this quest. Everything was already set up and ready to go. It was the thought of his stupid and amazing boyfriend Will Solace that made him hesitate. He knew that Will wouldnt be able to tag along, this had already been stated. A school year without his sunny smiles and bright personality would be like hell. And Nico knew what hell was like. Literally.

"I..." He choked a bit on air. No sound wanted to leave his mouth. Eventually he managed to choke out "accept."

Hecate smiled. Hades looked reluctant but at the same time a bit proud.

"Great, you leave tomorrow morning at 8 o'clock. Say your goodbyes and prepare yourself for the quest. Goodbye son of Hades!" She said and teleported out of the black and cold castle with a big CRACK!

Nico turned his head from where Hecate stood and made eye contact with his dad. The god had a faint smile on his lips and looked at his son with caring but strict eyes.
