Once upon a time there were three girls. Their names were Bella, Nina and Sarah. They were on holiday in Egypt. They went on a tour through the desert and saw all the sand dunes and pyramids.
They were amazed at everything they saw. It was quite a hot day and they decided to take a quick rest while everyone else was still exploring the area. Before they knew it, they had fallen asleep. When they woke up, there was no one around. The girls searched everywhere but there was really no one. They were all alone. "Don't worry girls. I have a plan." said Nina. "All we have to do is follow the car tracks and we will find our way back to town. " The other girls agreed and they all started walking along the car tracks.
A while later all the girls were tired and thirsty. The afternoon sun beating down on them really took its toll. Suddenly Sarah saw something in the distance. It looked like a big pool of water. "Look over there! There's some water! Let’s go get some." she said. Nina looked at where she was pointing but all that she saw was a mirage. "Look Sarah, we're all thirsty but that's not water. That's a mirage. We should just keep going and we will get to town soon. Then we can all get water. Sarah scoffed and replied "Well, I'm going to get some water. I'll find you guys later."
Nina tried protesting but to no avail. Sarah had her mind set on getting water and refused to listen. Nina and Bella kept on walking along the tracks and soon Sarah had disappeared from their view. They kept walking and after a while the town started to appear in the distance. They were filled with joy. When they got into town, they tried to find Sarah but she was nowhere to be seen. She hadn't arrived, so they decided to go to the police and tell them everything. Soon the police were out looking for Sarah.
Late the next afternoon they contacted Nina and Bella. They had found Sarah. Not long after, the police arrived at Nina and Bella's doorstep. The man looked serious but he seemed off. "We found Sarah" he started "but unfortunately she was deceased." Nina and Bella were devastated.
If only she had listened. Her stubbornness and foolishness cost her her life.
