I'm not too particular about it though. I wouldn't be picky if Ron or Hermione were with different people, as it's not my biggest OTP.
Explanation:
I think that the two of them bring out the best in each other as partners, honestly better than they did as friends. Their personalities mix well, and they've got lots of chemistry which in theory makes a ship better.
Ron and Hermione had a LOT of ups in downs back in Hogwarts (especially with one liking the other and the other being oblivious *cough* Ron) but in the end it was extremely cute to see all of that tension finally relieve.
