Chapter 6- The Insanity

With it being Saturday, I realized I was back into Dan. Thinking about the words Danielle said, I tried to control my odd power. I couldn't explain in words how I activated it, but with a quick static flash, I shifted into Danielle. I showed my parents. They were scared, they were breathing heavily and almost fainted. My sister who was on the couch dropped her phone on the couch and was freaked out. Without words and worries, they took me to the Doctor.
When I showed the Doctor, he was confused of me. He said he would have to report this and inform some sort of government. Everything was going too fast, the world was spinning around and I couldn't hold onto life anymore. There were too many people in the patient room. I've been through so much stuff and I couldn't handle all of it, it was too much. I screamed and cried. I curled up with my hands on my head. Too much pain was running through my veins and blood. I could feel nothing anymore. It was dark. I passed out without realization. There was darkness for a very long time. During this time I was passed out, I started thinking of where I will end up when I wake from the dead night sleep. I always wondered if I'm supposed to do something when I'm passed out or if I'm suppose to say something but I wasn't quite sure as all I could do is just think. I don't know how long I had to stare at this void of darkness.
Moments later, I started hearing that same loud frequency that I heard from the Doctors's office. I didn't know what was happening, but hoping I was waking up so I didn't have to suffer through this. Waking up with a bright white light flashing into my eyes, all I saw was me sitting up in an empty white room with a bright light on the ceiling in the middle of the room. I was confused to why I was in here. Then, a voice came on a speaker. I looked around and saw this odd mirror as I pointed it out as one of those 1 way windows. Someone was spying on me. "Hello, if you are wondering why you are in here, you are in here for a day to... Relax." The person on the speaker said. "What did I do?" I asked. No response. I was quite confused and I wanted to be out. I didn't have the patience for this. I wanted out. I had to think of a plan if I wanted to leave early.
There is a small hatch that opens to give out the food. It's really small but big enough for me to slip through. So at Lunch, I would slide through it and hopefully escape, but knowing these types of clechè in movies, the 'Stuck in an empty room' clechè. Waiting for lunch took forever, but when the time came, I prepared for my escape plan. I didn't need my imagination for this as this was already like an imagination, but in reality.
The hatch opened and I quickly slid through it. Strange the fact I saw no way the food could slide through. No one slid it through or any conveyors moved it. I decided to make my way around the halls of the facility. I heard people coming around the corner. I ran into the girls restroom and shifted into Danielle. I looked around and I spotted a vent. The vent was loose enough so I could climb into the vent and crawl around. I crawled over this vent and I safely fell onto the floor. I was in different hallway and when I looked behind me, there was this door that had a sign that said, Do Not Enter' There was a keypad next to it. I was very curious as to what was being held in there. I remembered those numbers I heard from the doctor's office and I typed it into the keypad and the door opened as I didn't think it would. There was a science lab inside and I looked around.
I then suddenly saw this test tube with a yellowish substance in it. I pulled my Bandana up a bit to read something on it. X-31.5 was written on it. I decided to take it as I may needed it for later use. I wasn't sure what it was, if it was good or bad. I wanted to get out of where I was, but with guards after me makes it difficult for me to. I shifted to Dan. I carefully made my way around the halls. I ran around a corner and that's when a guard spotted me. He sprinted at me and he was catching up. I ran into this group of them. They started surrounding me and they threw me to the ground. They started holding me. There was so much happening around me. I was trying to resist and get free of them. Then suddenly, there was a sharp needle through my arm causing everything to go pitch black.
I finally woke up in the Doctor's office with him staring at me. He said, "Don't worry about anything. We'll see you again soon." We left and I asked my Sister what was going on. "Well they said they were gonna have you... Well.. Have you watched under the government or something.." Great.. now I have an entire government watching from above me. What even just happened? I'm confused. I'm not even sure what is gonna happen next. The Future is unexpected.
I went back home and I finished my homework. I started to mess around with my strange new power. A lot of static flashes in my room. It was a satisfying feel switching to Danielle and Dan. I stopped a while as Danielle and I decided to just jump and do tricks on the trampoline. I went back inside to just get lost and distracted by the thought of my future life. I called Carey if she wanted to come over. She would be over in a bit. I entered my imagination to pass some time.
So I'm someone who is in charge of defusing a nuke but, the thing is: There are traps along the way. I had fun with my imagination. I always do. There were ferocious dogs and spikes, lava and bottomless pits. My imagination is what keeps me from becoming bored most of the time. My Sister arrived and we sat down and talked about girl stuff. I wanted to know more about girls and how to act like one as it's an important essential part of being one. So I could blend in with the others and make more friends. The day was over and I was excited to be Danielle for tomorrow. I might tell Sarah who I am and the story behind it.
