Seokjin was distraught. Not knowing how to approach the Alpha with his problem or if he even should approach him. Would Namjoon even answer him? Or is the reason he was treating Seokjin so kindly is because he didn't know anything?

He flushed bright red remembering that night before Hoshin and Hoseok had came in. His scent had shifted from his usual calming one to panicked and it was hanging so thick in the air that even Hoseok, a Beta, noticed it.

Namjoon and Hoshin weren't in the house. He didn't know where they'd went but Namjoon said he was driving back into Seoul to finish some business while Hoshin left unexpectedly. Hoseok said not to worry about her and that she would be back when she was ready.

So now, Hoseok was almost dizzy with the thick scent that seemed to be everywhere in the house. He couldn't even imagine how Namjoon would feel once he came in since Alphas and Omegas smelled scents better than Betas did.

"Seokjin, dammit, what's wrong? I'm going to faint soon if you don't stop releasing all these pheromones." The Omega jumped from his place on the couch where he had been sulking and curling up on himself more and more. The Beta could obviously tell something was bothering him and it couldn't be that incident with Hoshin because Namjoon told him that Seokjin held no feelings for her and wouldn't dwell on it.

"I-I'm sorry..." He sniffed, trying to hold back his scent and Hoseok's frown deepened.

"Hey...I didn't mean to snap at you. I just want to know what's wrong. You shouldn't be crying your pretty little eyes out, alright? Namjoon would kill me if he found out I let you." Seokjin blinked through his tears, wiping them with the back of his sweater, well, Namjoon's sweater.

"T-thank you. I'm sorry I'm just being emotional for no reason." He wanted to tell Hoseok, he wanted to tell him about all his insecurities when it came to Namjoon. Because the Alpha had everything so what could Seokjin possibly give him that he didn't have?

The Beta sighed and moved over to the Omega, wrapping an arm around Seokjin and pulling him closer.

"Listen, I don't know what you're going through and I won't say I understand but...it's normal to be emotional when you're sad or angry or whatever, so don't apologize for that. And I'm here if you want to talk, I've heard that I'm a great listener." Seokjin bit his bottom lip before shifting to get comfortable.

"I-I'm scared, not of Namjoon exactly. But...I don't know anything about him. I only realized that when Hoshin pointed it out. And, well, if-if Namjoon wanted to mate me or-or just court me I couldn't accept when I don't know anything about him and I don't really want to reject him." A blush coated his cheeks and Hoseok found it endearing. His problems were so simple yet he was so distraught over them, it just showed maybe they cared for each other more than they let on.

"Seokjin, are you older than me or younger? Haven't really thought about that till now, but I'm sure that Namjoon would tell you everything if you just asked. Their family is very traditional, but he broke a lot of them by bringing you in the house and staying close to you. His family wouldn't have allowed it had they known. They'd probably separated you and only let you see each other under supervision. So, in a sense, you were lucky. You just have to ask." Seokjin looked down and fidgeted with his sweater paws.

"I-I'll try. Thank you for listening to me, Hoseok." The Beta grinned and Seokjin hugged him, yawning and rubbing his eyes. Hoseok turned back to the TV while Seokjin slowly fell asleep on his shoulder.

He didn't think a simple gesture would stir up a fight between him and Namjoon once the Alpha came back.

Seokjin stirred awake to the sound of shouting and the strong scent of an Alpha smacked him right in the face, causing him to gasp and then whimper loudly.

"I didn't do anything to him Namjoon!"

"You were touching him!" Namjoon's growl made Seokjin whimper again but the Beta and Alpha were too absorbed in their fighting to notice.

"So what! As if an Omega would ever choose a Beta when they have a capable Alpha right with them! Stop being a jealous bastard every time he confides in someone or tries to make friends!" Namjoon's glare would've killed if it could and Seokjin quickly got up, the Alpha's scent was almost suffocating but he still wobbled forward.

"N-Namjoon, please, s-stop—" Namjoon's head snapped to him and he flinched violently, raising his arms over his head as if expecting Namjoon to strike him and that brought the Alpha out of range induced mind.

"Seokjin-ah, I'm sorry. Come here." The Omega looked up between the two, trembling in his steps as he approached the Alpha, accepting the arms that wrapped around him.

"L-leave Hoseok alone. He-he was just helping me when-when I was sad." Namjoon froze at Seokjin's words and suddenly, he felt like he was useless. The Omega was sad and he hadn't noticed? Hadn't done anything to help him?

Seokjin could see how he deflated like a puppy, it was their nature. Since Alphas were made to provide and protect and to be told that someone else helped your friend or partner through something that you could've helped too, it was a blow to their ego.

He gave Hoseok a look that said they'd continue this later. But right now, he needed to know what had made his Omega sad and how he was going to fix it.
