"Kuro! How many times have I told you to not make such a big mess!"
Kuro yawned from the potato chip covered couch where he played on his Nintendo. They finally had a normal day from the events that usually occurred and Mahiru couldn't seem to let him be.
"Can't deal," Kuro responded without looking away from the screen. Mahiru glared at the lazy Servamp and turned off the vacuum cleaner.
"Get your lazy self up and help out for a change!" Mahiru said in exasperation though he already knew how this conversation would play out. Kuro took his eyes off the screen and watched Mahiru place his hand on his hip with a glare fixed at him. He also knew too well his Eve would not let him be until he at least threw away the empty chip bags surrounding him.
"Nah. Too much work," Kuro mumbled looking back at his game. Mahiru did not hide his irritation and picked up the house broom to whack him, but Kuro disappeared from his spot before the broom even landed. Mumbling how troublesome his Eve is, Kuro reluctantly picked up the bags and threw them away.
"See? It doesn't take that much work," Mahiru said with a smile.
"For a housewife like you," Kuro mumbled.
"I am not a housewife!"
"Yeah, sure," Kuro said while his mind was returning to the game.
"Oh, by the way--"
Suddenly all they could hear was static and the room began rumbling. The floor divided into multiple pieces, a line instantly dividing the two individuals as they were pulled away from each other.
"Kuro!"
"Mahiru!"

All Mahiru saw when he opened his eyes was red. Literally. He looked around and as he was about to question where he is, he noticed a dark figure a few feet away playing on a Nintendo.
"Kuro?" Mahiru almost sighed in relief. The figure lifted their head to confirm it was the lazy vampire. Mahiru started making his way to Kuro when more voices cut through the air.
"Lichtan! Come here, my precious angel!" a familiar overdramatic voice reached the Sloth pairs ears.
"I am not your angel, shitrat!" another familiar deep voice replied angrily. It didn't take long for the pair to see the other pair fighting in the distance. Well, the Eve kicking his Servamp while the latter dodges.
"Ah, what a pain," Kuro immediately sighed. Knowing the two were too busy to notice them, Kuro whistled and waved an arm. This caught the Greed pairs attention as intended. Lawless immediately broke into a sprint in excitement at seeing familiar faces.
"Nii-san!" Lawless yelled as he tackled Kuro in a hug. "I haven't seen you in forever!"
"It's been two days," Kuro said as he patted his younger brother's back. Licht arrived a few seconds later with his usual glare aimed at his hedgehog. Without hesitation, Licht lifted Hyde and threw him to the side. Now with the hedgehog out of the way, his glare left.
"Neko-san," Licht started, eyes shining with longing. Kuro sighed and transformed into his cat form, gladly caught by Licht. "Ah. How are you, Neko-san?"
"Nya," Kuro said lazily, rolling on his back as Licht caressed his belly. Hyde pouted from his spot on the floor and transformed into his hedgehog form, crawling up Licht's leg in an attempt to get his attention.
"Me, too! Me, too, Licht-tan!" Hyde yelled and snuggled next to Kuro. Licht scowled and moved his hands away from his body, dropping Hyde but shielding Kuro. Hyde cried dramatically. "Why do you prefer Nii-san over your cute hedgehog?"
