Getting To Know The Class

Baekhyun was taking the same path to school as yesterday. He could hear the rev of an engine coming up behind him and turned to look. He could see rainbow hair through the window. 'Interesting choice of hair color.' Baekhyun thought as the car zoomed past.

Once he got to the doors he noticed Xiumin was waiting for him. "Hey, Baekhyun. Since we have the time, can i introduce you to everyone?" Baekhyun nodded and they started walking.

Once they got to class Luhan greeted them, smiling. "Morning Xiumin. Morning Baek." Aish," Chen said. "Giving him a nickname already?" Luhan looked slightly guilty. "Maybe." Baekhyun smiled. "It's no problem. Can i call you Lu then?" "Sure!"

Xiumin cleared his throat to get their attention. "So, Baekhyun. The people we know... where to start?" He looked around and then looked back to Baekhyun. "Ah. The front row is usually Jisoo, Hyuna, Sehun and Chanyeol. Middle row are Hoseok, Jennie, Lisa and Namjoon. Back row is of course Chen, Luhan, you and me."

Baekhyun slowly nodded, taking in all the names from Xiumin's roll call.

"Oh, and i'd avoid the first row. They're  not known to be the nicest people in town. Especially Chanyeol and Sehun. They're, hmm, special?" Xiumin said in a slightly questioning tone.

Baekhyun hummed in understanding. 'Wait, didn't i lock eyes with one of them? Never mind it. It doesn't matter.'

The class was sat and the teacher was taking attendance. "Where are Chanyeol and Sehun?" "Right here." Said a ravenette as he walked through the door. "I thought i told you two to stop being late." The teacher said, frustrated. "Eh, we're here aren't we?" "You have quite the smart mouth Chanyeol. And Sehun, stop riding with him if you're just going to be late." The boy with rainbow hair snickered. "The car wasn't the problem."

Lunch

Same as the day before Baekhyun followed Xiumin to their table. This time three people were already there. A shorter doe eyed guy looked up at Baekhyun. "Hi, my name's D.o Kyungsoo. I'm a friend of theirs." "Nice to meet you Kyungsoo." Baekhyun said with a soft smile. "I'm going back to my usual table, nice talking to you guys." Kyungsoo said as he walked to the table across from them.

"Wait, isn't that the table with Sehun and Chanyeol?" Baekhyun asked. Xiumin nodded. "But you said to avoid them." Xiumin nodded again. "I did, but Kyungie is friends with Kai. Not them" he said simply. "Kai does seem to be influenced by Chanyeol's group. But he's pretty easy going most of the time. Plus," Xiumin was whispering. "I'm pretty sure Kyungsoo  has a crush on him." Xiumin said with a smirk.

As they were eating Baekhyun was taking glances at the other table. He could see why Kyungsoo would like Kai. He's handsome and by the looks of it, funny too. He wasn't focused on them however. He was focused on Chanyeol. His black hair suited his face and oh god his jaw line. Baekhyun shook his head. 'No, i am NOT getting a crush on him."

"Hey, Baekhyun?" Luhan said. "Yeah?" "Would you mind hanging with me for a bit after our classes?" Baekhyun shrugged. "Sure, why not?"

After school

Baekhyun walked into the courtyard and walked over to Luhan. "Hey, Lu." Luhan was looking at his phone typing away. "Hey, Baek. Give me just a sec." Luhan spent another minute typing then looked up. "Sorry. Anyway, i wanted you to meet someone. They'll be here in just a minute." After a few minutes Baekhyun saw rainbow hair walk around the corner and up to Luhan. Luhan turned around to give the rainbow haired guy a kiss and then turned back to Baekhyun.

Luhan smiled gleefully and said "Baekhyun, this is my boyfriend, Sehun." Baekhyun looked slightly unsure of the situation. "Oh c'mon, he's not THAT bad." Sehun snickered and wrapped his arms around Luhan. "I'll go easy on you since my little deer sees you as a friend. But i can't speak for Chanyeol."

Just as Sehun finished his sentence Chanyeol walked up to them. "Speaking of the devil." Chanyeol smirked at Sehun's comment. Baekhyun stared as Luhan told Chanyeol about him. When Chanyeol's gaze settled on him his heart went nuts. Those eyes. How could that stare make his heart race? "Did you hear me?" Baekhyun snapped out of it. "Huh?" Chanyeol sighed. "I said. Since you're friends with Luhan and Kyungsoo i guess we'll be seeing you around."

Baekhyun started to space out. That voice. It was so deep and attractive. No, no, no. He was NOT thinking that.

The three of them had left and it was time for him to go home. He thought about those eyes the whole walk home.
