↬ Early symptoms/ Finding out

Jaebum:

You rested your head on your husband's shoulder as the loud noises from his fellow members were lulling you to sleep. You were out celebrating with GOT7 as they had multiple wins during their promotion and you know how important the album was to Jaebum. He had worked hard on producing instrumentals for the album side tracks; the lyrics for the title track were also created by Jaebum. You tried to stay awake, but you felt your eyelids struggling to open.

You had recently been feeling more tired than usual, immediately going to bed after returning from work. Jaebum had questioned it a few times but you assured him that your brain was just mentally exhausted after a day's work and needed time to recharge. That was not true though, no matter how many hours you slept, you still feel exhausted. Not only were you dealing with fatigue, you also felt nauseous and sometimes you couldn't keep anything down without throwing it up minutes later. Jaebum had been concerned and assumed that it was maybe a serious medical condition. You had told him to quit worrying and that it was probably just a rare month long flu. 

''Jagi?'' Jaebum asked softly. ''Are you sure you're okay? We can go back home early if you want to. You're not acting yourself this past week.'' He continued. ''You are suppose to be celebrating, not worrying about me. I am sure I am fine, I probably ate something bad and it's messing around with my system.'' You mumbled. But Jaebum was taking none of the excuses you gave, after apologizing to the boys for leaving early because 'Y/N isn't feeling too great', he brought you back home. 

As you lay in bed, the food still unsettling in your stomach, you thought of the possible reasons for your symptoms. Wait, could you be pregnant? You and Jaebum had been trying for one for quite awhile now. It had been 5 months of baby making and every time you thought you were, the test would come back negative. You weren't too down though; this process takes time. 

When you woke up the next morning, way before Jaebum did, you decided to take a pregnancy test to confirm your suspicions. You haven't told Jaebum as you didn't want to get his hopes up or stress him out. You kissed his cheeks and entered the bathroom, where you rummaged through the cabinets and found a set of unused pregnancy tests. ''Here goes nothing.'' You muttered, skimming through the instructions and tossing it to the side. You peed onto the stick and did several others just to be absolutely sure. You could feel your heart pounding as these 5 minutes ticked by. You took a deep breath and sat on the edge of the bath tub, inhaling and exhaling when the fear overwhelmed you. You bit the insides of your cheek as each second pass by. When the timer on your phone beeped, you stood up. You turned over the first test, positive. All of the tests were positive. You and Jaebum were going to have a baby. Finally.

Jinyoung:

You had been emotionally unstable for the past couple of weeks, it was either your hormones being all over the place or that you were especially sensitive. You watched as Jinyoung cleaned the dishes and put it on the drying racks for the day after. He asked you to give him a new wash cloth to scrub the pots with and when you nearly tripped over and dropped the towel, you broke down there in the middle of the kitchen. Jinyoung made his way to you while you sobbed into your hands without any warning.

''I-I d-dropped the t-towel.'' You hiccupped. ''Y/N, what's wrong?'' He raised his eyebrows at the scene before him. You looked up at him with bloodshot eyes and wiped the tears that kept falling down your face. ''I-I d-dropped the t-towel.'' You repeated. Jinyoung looked at you in confusion. He had never seen you crying because you dropped a towel on the floor. ''Are you on your period?'' He finally asked. The word 'period' sparked an idea on why you were so emotional but you shook your head. ''No, why would you think that?'' You pouted. ''Because you are only clingy and emotional on your period.'' Jinyoung answered. You cried even harder, burying your head into your kneecaps as you sat on the floor. He crouched down beside you, not speaking a word but holding you close. ''I am going to go shower and we can go to bed, yeah?'' Jinyoung said.
