I woke up and looked around and it was daylight. I don't even remember going to bed last night. I rolled over and stared at the ceiling not saying nor making a sound. Only thing you heard was the air conditioner kick on.
I laid here for a good twenty minutes and grabbed my phone. I saw the messages but i didn't respond, i needed time. I unlocked my phone and started dialing my mama's number.
" This Charla Patrice, I'm sorry I'm not able to come to the phone right now, but leave your name and number I'll get back to you. Blessings .. JoJo how you cut this damn thing off ?!" *beep*
Tears quickly filled my eyes as i chuckled cause she didn't know how to end the recording..
"Umm . Hey ma.. it's JoJo .. Umm i just wanted to hear your voice.. i love you forever ." I said with my voice breaking.
I hung up and bawled my eyes out. I'm so fucking hurt that was my dad's rock! I just know he's not taking it well at all...
"Hello?" I answered the phone.
"You up? Can you come over please?" Ai asked.
"Yeah, I'll be over in a little. Let me take a shower." I said flipping the cover.
"K." and she just hung up the phone.
I lazily got out the bed and headed to the shower. Usually I'd play some music but i wasn't even in the mood to leave the house. Anything for my sister.
After my shower i left my hair in my bonnet and threw on my sweatsuit. I grabbed my keys and charger and headed out..
"Shit!" I jumped when i opened the door.
Kyree jumped out of his sleep and looked at me. "Yo where you going?" He asked in his raspy voice.
I locked my door and was heading down the stairs. "To Ai's House. Then by my parents' house to check on my brother." I said jogging down the steps.
"Ard ." Kyree said and jogged down the stairs to his car. "I'll check on y'all later. I need to go." He said cranking up his car.
I exhaled and called Ai.
"Yeah?"
"You want something? And have you talked to Colbian?"
"Yeah breakfast coo.. you know what i eat. And yeah he said he's coming over after papa go sit with auntie."
"Ard Im on my way now."
"Ard"

I pulled up to Waffle House and walked in.
"For here or to go?"
"To go."
"Ard, what can i get you?"
"Umm, lemme get a all star; cheese eggs, two patty sausages, bacon, cheese grits, and a hash brown with cheese and ham.."
"Okay Anything Else?"
"Yeah and another all star but with a waffle and link sausages. And two large orange juices."
"Okay, that's $27.30"
I paid and went to sit at a booth waiting for the food to get done. I scrolled on Facebook and obviously somebody put something on Facebook about mommy's death. I was so mad cause no one was supposed to know until papa gave the okay.
"JOJO?!"
"Yeah Ik i saw it Colbian."
"Man who the fuck said something?! Papa didn't give the okay!"
