I jumped up realizing what time it was and stumbled across the room to my closet.
"Shit shit shit. What ima wear?" I frantically looked through my closet.
I found a dress that was dressy but not too much. "Ard coo. I'm finna wash up." I stripped and ran into the bathroom.
After i got out i lotioned up and roughly flat iron my bumped hair. Got dressed and was heading out the door.
"Hello?"
"You on your way?"
"Heading to the car now. I'll be there soon."
"All good. See you soon."
"Okay"
I typed the address into the gps and headed out.

I pulled up into the driveway of Ms. Deloris' home and turned the car off. I looked on the porch and i seen J and his brothers Gavin and Kaydence. I grabbed my bag and applied some carmex before getting out.
As i walked up the driveway i could feel J's eyes burning a hole in me but i tuned into my heels clacking against the pavement.
"Wassup Jo." Gavin Said walking over to me. "You look good. Long time no see." He said hugging me.
I hugged him and Kaydence. "Wassup yall, and i Know i Know but I've been in the city."
"Oh word? How long you've been in school?" Gavin asked.
"I've been in school since we graduated. I graduate next spring." I said smiling.
"Congratulations Lil mama. The ladies in the house. Ma wants to see you so gone head before she come out here." J laughed motioning me towards the front door.
I walked in and seen 2 beautiful ass females and Ms. Deloris. Ms. Deloris has always treated me like the daughter she always wanted. When me and Jalen broke up, it hurt her the most. I was still invited over whenever i wanted though.
"Ma Deloris!" I called getting her attention.
She turned from the stove and lit up with joy. "Ooooh my baby! Jalen told me he ran into you at the grocery store and told me you was comin'. I didn't believe him! But here my baby go! Lorddd!" She said hugging me.
I missed Ms. Deloris so much, i know it's my fault cause i didn't keep in touch. All she used to ask was when was me and Jalen getting back together.
"Oh, where are my manners,chile. These lovely ladies are DeAsha and Amber." She said introducing me to the females that was standing in the kitchen.
"Hey yall, Im Jolana. Y'all can just call me JoJo or Lana. Either or is cool." I said waving at them.
"Hey, How about y'all go set the table and get the drinks. I'm done here and Finna go up stairs to freshen up." Ma Deloris Said taking off her apron.
Me, DeAsha, and Amber began setting the dinner table and bringing the food in. I looked over at DeAsha and seen her belly poking. She wasn't that big or nothing but i could tell she was pregnant.
"DeAsha, If you dont mind me asking; how far along are you?" Amber asked while putting the last plate on the table.
"Oh I'm 23 weeks. I'll be 24 weeks tomorrow." She said smiling and rubbing her stomach.
"Aww congratulations!" I said smiling.
"Thank you, Lana." She said hugging me.
"No problem." I Said, "I'ma go get the guys."
