I take one step outside the elevator and as soon as I look up I jump a bit and am scared the hell outta me until I see-
him. Matt.
I widen my eyes in surprise and then in shock as to how did he reach down here so damn fast, then when I came out of the lift he was breathing really fast and said Sorry for surprising me.
"How the hell did u come down here so fast?!?" I asked
"The Escalator?" He replies
I am still a bit shocked and ask, "But why would you do that?"
"To talk to you?" He said as if it was obvious.
"What about?" I said and started to move towards the exit. He follows after me scratching the back of his head and wrinkling his forehead in deep thought. Then he finally speaks as the sun rays touch our skin as we exit the mall.
"What song are we performing on?"
"I don't remember the name but it was something like 🎶It must be a sign, cause every single day, I feel you pulling back at me.....🎶if it could only mean... somethin' like that"
(The writing between the 🎶 is they lyrics which is being sung)
"Okay then see you tommorow I guess..." He gives a smile that looks like he is forcing on his face, then turns left and runs. Weird. He ran all the way down to ask that? Huh.
I go back home to eat something and sleep because I won't be able to wake up by 4am if I don't sleep cause I am tired af, EVEN though it will be 8pm till the time I reach home. I go to the bus stop and the bus arrives as soon as I do. Lucky me.
I get on the bus and sit on an empty seat at the back.
