The man was placed one of his hands on top of Lily's breast and gave it a hard squeeze that made her cry out more as she pushes her hand harder on the man's chest to remove him off of her. The man trailed his hand lower and as he was about to rip off Lily's skirt he was lifted off of her.

Lily laid there for a second before she looked up to see Luca punching the guy repeatedly.

Luca didn't know how he got the man off of Lily and he most especially didn't feel his knuckles sink into the man's face as blood flowed from the man's nose, the sight of blood spurred him on as he repeated his actions again and again until the man's face was unrecognizable. Luca didn't care that this was one of his men, he didn't care that he might be something important.

What he cared was that he had put a hand on Lily, he sexually violated her and was about to rape her. And that angered him and he couldn't explain why, she wasn't his, she wasn't someone important to him. So why was he being so over protective of her.

Seeing the man unconscious and beaten up didn't satisfy Luca as he grabbed his gun and was about to shoot him when Lily's voice stopped him.

"No, stop!" Lily shouted as she ran to clutch Luca's muscular bicep. Luca was about to pull the trigger but Lily pleaded once more and Luca growled before he lowered his gun and turned to look at her.

She looks messed up, her hair was everywhere and her makeup was smudged, her clothes were disarray and she looked terrified as hell, Luca felt a pinch in his heart before it disappeared.

He tucked a piece of hair behind her ear before he pulled his hand back.

What the hell am I doing.

Luca asked himself as he clenches his fist. This isn't him, he doesn't comfort women, he doesn't show his care for them despite their struggles.

"Next time, don't fucking run or I'll guarantee that the next time you do, you'll end up looking like him" Luca said in a warning tone, his voice lacking emotions as he narrows his eyes on Lily.

Lily doesn't know what to think, she was about to get raped, she witnessed Luca punching a man twice his size until the man's unconscious, she witnessed how he pulled a gun and was about to shoot him. How he even got a gun was beyond her.

Lily then knows that this person is dangerous, fearless and sinister. What she witnessed just intensified that fact, he was about to shoot a man without a second thought, without hesitation and she was glad that she jumped just in time before he did so. Albeit it took her a lot of effort before he did so, because it looks like he wasn't one who takes orders from someone else.

Lily was stunned when Luca tucked a strand of hair behind her ear but then his cold demeanor was back.

She didn't know what she had done for him to say those mean words but she knew better than to try and escape again, no doubt they will not hesitate to kill her again. She isn't someone important to them so why would they not kill her?

"They are trained snipers yet they can't even shoot you properly, fucking stupid" Lily heard Luca said as he pinched ghe bridge of his nose and Lily tensed, was he really hoping that they should've killed her? Then why did he even bother save her from getting raped?
