(Y/n)'s POV
"(Y/n) are you excited about the new school?" Yumeko asked as she looked at me with a smile while we walked together "A little bit" I replied as I looked at her and smiled back. I then saw a giant building with a bunch of students walking inside it with the same uniform that Yumeko and I had so we walked over to the entrance and walked inside the building. "It's definitely bigger than most schools" I stated as we walked towards a classroom and walked inside it "we have two new students today class" the teacher announced as Yumeko and I stood at the front of the class "please welcome Yumeko Jabami and (Y/n) Jabami" the teacher announced to the class. I stuffed my hands into my pockets as I felt all eyes on me 'I'm guessing they are staring at me because of my blindfold' I thought as the class started to whisper to each other "alright then, let's see, I'd like to assign one of you to take Yumeko and (Y/n) on a tour of the school" the teacher stated as she looked around the classroom "Ryota your class president. Would you do the honors?" She asked a brown haired boy "sure" Ryota replied as he looked at me and Yumeko "Ryota that's very kind of you to agree" Yumeko stated as she looked at Ryota "no. Thank you" he replied with a little bit of a smile. "Now then, (Y/n) you can sit beside Kirari and Yumeko you can sit behind (Y/n)" the teacher explained as she pointed to a desk by the window next to a grey haired girl with icey blue eyes, blue lipstick and blue nails so Yumeko and I walked over to our desks and sat down.

After the first class was over Ryota walked over to us so we walked outside to a garden "it's all so beautiful" Yumeko stated as she looked out at the garden "I've never seen anything quite like this" Yumeko stated as she looked at me "I'm really so glad we transferred here" Yumeko added as she walked over to him and looked at the tag that was hanging from his neck which caught him off guard "hey what is this?" Yumeko asked as I walked over to them with my hands in my pockets but Ryota turned around before I could see what it was "Y-Yumeko, (Y/n)" Ryota asked as his back was facing us "yes?" Yumeko asked "what is it?" I asked with no interest "are you alright?" Yumeko asked Ryota as she elbowed me slightly "listen. Do you two know how to gamble?" Ryota asked with a slight bit of worry in his voice "I'm sorry?" Yumeko asked "how to gamble?" Yumeko asked with a innocent tone in her voice "I know mah-jongg and a little poker" Yumeko stated "I'm familiar with the rules at least" Yumeko stated with a innocent face "I see. Right" Ryota replied "here at Hyakkaou gambling is our lifeblood" Ryota stated with a sad tone in his voice 'this place continues to amaze me' I thought with a smirk as I looked at Yumeko she was smiling a little bit. "Once classes let out you'll see it everywhere you look and the students here are filthy rich so the stakes are always high. You'll get challenged sooner or later so I hope you'll be" Ryota said as he clutched the tag around his neck but he turned around from hearing Yumeko laugh a little bit as I chuckled a bit too "we'll get challenged huh?" Yumeko stated while I patted Ryota on the shoulder in a comforting manner "don't worry about it Ryota we'll be ready for it" I stated with a reassuring smile but I don't think it helped because he frowned a little bit as he looked at us both with a questioning look on his face but the bell rang for the next period.

Once the school day was over a bunch of girls went over to Yumeko and a bunch of boys walked over to me and they began bombarding us with questions but we didn't bother answering any of them instead we just stood there "your giving me a headache with your questions" I stated as I rubbed my head a little and I saw Ryota looking at us both with a shocked expression on his face but then a random guy walked in front of me "so can you help us with dating your sister?" The guy that was standing in front of me stated but I immediately stopped rubbing my head and I lifted my other hand out of my pocket and let my arms dangle at my sides "you are all idiots" I stated in a low voice as I put my head down and let my hair cover my face but one of them grabbed my collar "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY!?" A boy with black hair yelled at me "fine I'll repeat myself" I stated in a low voice "you. Are. All. Idiots." I stated as I lifted my head up to reveal a smirk on my face but that just made him angrier because all the boys that were swarming me earlier had gotten behind the black haired boy with scared expressions on their faces while everyone else except Yumeko stared at me in disbelief as I smirked "LET'S GAMBLE THEN WE'LL SEE WHO'S AN IDIOT!" He yelled with an angry expression on his face as he let go of my collar and walked over to four desks with two facing each other and I saw that a blonde haired girl had walked up to Yumeko and asked her to gamble and she of course said yes "Mary and Jack (I'm sorry I couldn't think of a better name🤣) just challenged the new kids" someone said but I didn't care I was going to wipe the floor with this annoying son of a bitch 'this is very annoying though' I thought as I sat down with a sigh and looked over at Yumeko with a smirk as she smirked back but I focused my attention back on Jack "so what are we playing?" I asked with a bored expression on my face "we're playing a game that we like to call ballot rock paper scissors" Jack stated with a smirk as I saw Ryota standing behind Mary "I'll let Mary explain the rules" Jack stated as he looked over at Mary "first every student in the class draws with the symbol of rock, paper or scissors on it. Then they drop those cards in the box so we can't see them. Next we draw three cards each and chose just one to play a classic game of rock paper scissors. If we stalemate we simply chose from the remaining cards we have and play again and if all three times we match we call it a draw and that makes a single game. Unlike normal rock paper scissors you don't normally end up showing your whole hand. The fun is in trying to read each other even though the game is stacked against you" Mary explained "also you and (Y/n) have to offer up the same chips as do I and Jack" Mary added "alright sounds interesting enough" I stated as I looked over at Yumeko "you can say how many chips we use" I stated with a smile "alright we're in" Yumeko added as she looked over at me with a smile on her face "brilliant. That's what I like to hear" Mary stated as we looked at who we were up against "Yumeko, (Y/n) I-" Ryota said but he got interrupted by Mary grabbing the tag around his neck and pulled his head down to her level "quiet. Now go fetch the chips" Mary stated but Ryota hesitated "I said fetch boy" Mary stated as she pulled his tag down more meanwhile I was glaring daggers at Mary and so was Yumeko "yes ma'am" Ryota replied as went and got the chips. When Ryota came back he placed a giant pile of chips on the table and walked behind me and Yumeko "we'll play with ten thousand yen chips. To start here's 100 chips" Mart stated with a smile "since your both new here you can determine how much we bet each game and the best way to learn is by doing so let's do it" Mary stated with a smile "how much do you wanna bet?" Mary asked as she looked at Yumeko "two chips" Yumeko said as I picked up two chips from my pile and put them in front of me as the box was being passed around I was the last person to get my cards and my hand had two rocks and one paper as we were thinking about what cards we were going to put out but when we put out our cards Yumeko and I won because we put out rocks and Mary and Jack put out scissors "it looks like the first match goes to you two" Mary stated "very well played" she said "thank you very much" Yumeko stated with a smile "you guys got a pretty good handle on it, yeah" Mary stated "why don't we keep it going?" Jack asked with a smirk "sure" Yumeko stated "this time I want to bet something like fifty chips" Yumeko stated as Mary and Jack had surprised looks on their faces "I didn't think you'd live on the edge Yumeko and (Y/n)" Mary said "ready to play another round?" I asked them and we all put our cards out but it was a draw "wow a draw huh?" Mary asked with a innocent face "time to go to the next card" Jack stated as we picked a different card but this time Yumeko and I lost because we put out scissors and Mary and Jack put out rock.
