Chapter 21

Karisma POV

"What do you mean my biological mother ? What the fuck ? My whole life I always thought that my mother was killed by rogues!! And now I find out that she's not and that she's out there looking for me!"

"She wants to kill you. Needs to kill you." My dad whispers towards the floor.

"What ?! Why ?!" Damian growls. "Because, she is too powerful. Karisma will become so powerful that the moon goddess herself wouldn't be able to stop her. Well, she would, but Karisma will be very powerful. Almost as powerful as the Moon Goddess. So her mother wants to kill her."

"But why ?! I don't even know my own mother and she wants to kill me!" I scream.

"I knew your mother." Stephanie whispers. I turn to her. "You did ?" I ask cautiously. She looks up at me apologetically.

"Yes. She sent me to tell her your whereabouts. And your lifestyle and when the best time to kill you would be. I didn't think that your father would be my mate though. So I've changed sides. I'm on your side. And I'm sorry for how I've been treating you. It was all an act, to keep up with my mission." She says.

Woah. "I accept your apology. But what are we gonna do. School starts again tomorrow and we can't do anything about my mother trying to kill me." I say, tears forming in my eyes. Damian steps towards me and wraps his arms around me.

"We go to school and act like nothing's happening." He whispers. I turn to face him. "But that's the weak way out. We should attack her and kill her first!" I say.

"No. Your mother isn't a werewolf Karisma. She's a witch." My dad says.

"Wait... So I'm half witch ?" I say. That would be really cool. "No. I made sure you weren't. If the elders found out they would have killed you first. Now, you two go on to your pack. Go to sleep and act like nothing is happening. I'll figure something out."

"Ok daddy. Be safe. You too Stephanie." She smiles widely at me. And I return the gesture.

Me and Damian begin to go back home when I feel the wind increase in power. I see a shadow in the distance and its a woman's figure.

Be safe my child, I look forward to when we meet

Woah, it was like the wind was talking to me! But then the shadow was gone and Damian turned to me. "You okay ?" He says.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's go."

When we get home, I go straight to the shower and bathe myself. Then I get changed into short shorts with a sports bra. I go to bed and Damian wraps his arms around me.

"I love you Karisma." He whispers into my ear. "I love you too Dami(Day-mi)."

Then I fall into a deep sleep.

I wake up and look at the time. 5:57 the clock reads. I go to take a shower and remember that I have volleyball tryouts today. I'm officially varsity captain since I'm a senior and have a lot of free time.

I put in my Nike volleyball shorts and jersey. Varsity jerseys are long sleeved to protect the insides of our arms.

I put on my retro Jordan 13s and pack my bag for tryouts. Water, knee pads, ankle brace. I don't need the protection, but the humans would question how I don't ever get hurt.

Clarissa is so on the team, my co captain, so this year should be loads of fun.

I curl the ends of my hair and spray some olive oil spray to make it shiny and soft.

Then I go to wake up Damian. He snores lightly, and I walk up to him and suck on his neck. He moans in his sleep and then wakes up. "Keep waking me up like that and we'll never go to school on time." He says sleepily.

His sleepy and just-out-of-bed look is soooooo sexy and BOOMB!!

I giggle and respond quickly. "Hurry up, we don't want to be late."

He groans and then walks to the shower. I go downstairs and look around for the kitchen to make some toast and scrambled eggs for Damian.

When I walk into the kitchen I see two girls in their laughing and eating waffles. I awkwardly walk in and they sniff and turn their heads to bow their heads.

"Luna." They say in unison to greet me. "Please, call me Karisma." I say.

They both look up and smile, I smile back and walk to the fridge to start making Damian some food. "Hi Karisma, I'm Brianna." The red head says.

She has shoulder length, fire red hair with light brown highlights. She's about 5 feet 7, from what I can see. They're sitting so I don't know for sure. She has a nice figure, curves in the right places and such.

"Hi." I say smiling. "And I'm Diana." The blonde says. She's a bimbo looking girl but you can tell she's not a slut. She looks about my height and her hair meets the small of her back. She has a big chest, and her hair is tipped with brown. She's wearing a crop top with a large through lace back and some high waisted shorts.

Brianna is wearing the same but her crop top is red, not hot pink. They're both wearing combat boots with knee high black socks.

"Are you guys sisters ?" I ask curiously.

"Yeah. We're fraternal twins. We would have the same hair color, but Brianna dyed hers." Diana says. "Oh. Cool. I'm an only child." I say nonchalantly.

"That must be weird." Brianna says. "Yeah, at least I have my mate though." "I think we're gonna be best friends you guys." Diana says.

I laugh. "As long as you guys meet my best friend Clarissa, I'm all ears." They giggle. "We know Clarissa."

"Oh cool. Ok."

Then Damian begins to walk downstairs. He's wearing his basketball things. Jersey, shorts, socks and Lebron sneakers.

"You have practice ?" I say while passing him the toast with eggs. "Did you eat ? And yeah we have a game today. Are you going ?"

"Yeah I ate. And no, I can't. I have a volleyball game. Three actually. It's the tournament today."

He finishes eating and puts his stuff in the dishwasher. "Ok." He says.

"Let's go." He says when he gets all his stuff ready.

I turn to the sisters. "Do you guys need a ride ?" I ask them. As Luna, it's my job to make sure all pack members are taken care of. "No thanks, we have cars. It's Diana's turn to drive anyway."

"But I have the tournament today, so can you get a ride today or can you pick me up ?" I turn to Diana. "I can take you home. We come to the same place anyway, and I'm playing today."

"Oh yeah!! You're captain!" She says excitedly. "Yeah." "Thanks Lu- I mean Karisma." She says.

Then we all go to school.
