"o-oh.." i say, not knowing what else to say. "yea, but i guess you're happy with jason huh?" he asks and i look at him. "who?"
"your boyfriend?" he asks. "heh...long story...we aren't dating-"
"you broke up?" he interrupts. "we were never dating" i say. "oh..." he nods his head. i can tell he understood what i was saying.
daniel's pov
we continued to eat and laugh. we forget about everything that happened and just enjoy each others company.
"i had a nice time emma" i say. "same here" she smiles. "i was wondering maybe, we could...start something up again?"
"uh..."
"SLOW!" i shout. i clear my throat and say, "i mean we can go slow, like friends, then we can go from there?" i ask. "i'd love that" she gives me a smile. i smile back.

we continue to laugh. when it gets dark we head inside and eat ice cream and laugh even more...

daniel and i are officially dating.
it started off as friends.
then we gained each others trusts and now we are dating!
man, i miss this goofy kid so much!
jack, zach, the boys and ella are my best friends.
jason and i are just friends.
he got a girlfriend.
so that's good.
