Chapter Four

I woke up. I went to reach for my phone. It was 1:10.

Shayla and Jason both have play dates at one. I jumped up and started screaming for Shayla and Jason.

That's when Ken walked in holding Mimi saying "I already took them".

I said "thank you" and took Mimi out his hands.

I took Mimi to the room and started getting her dressed. I was taking her to a lunch with my brother Troy. He wanted us to talk in person.

I put Mimi in a blue dress with some blue mk sandals. After I put her in her play pin and turned of the tv.

I started to get dress. I put on a white short sleeve crop top and red plaid suspender pants with some black sandals.

I sat down and started to think about last night. Why did he kiss me? What about his girlfriend? What about Keshawn, well right now is fuck dat boy. What if he tells his mom? Or one of his friends I'm so getting fired. Did it mean some to him? Why did I kiss back? Did it mean something to me? Do I like him? Ain't that shit illegal or sum to be fucking around with yo nanny?

I'm so never getting myself caught up again I'm here for one job and that's to care for these kids he's only 3 months younger then me I don't need to take care of him. One job.

I got up got my bag and Mimi and walked out my room.

I got in the car and drove off. I always like LA. Fresh. Diverse. It's was nice.

After a while I was at my destination. I walk in with Mimi in a stroller.
I found Troy he was in the front already sitting down at a table. I go join him.

He hugged me said "hey big sis".

Then bent down towards Mimi and said "who is this".

I say "Mimi one of the kids I'm babysitting" as I sit down.

Troy sit down "one of the kids" raising a eyebrow in confusion. "Yeah there's 4".

He say "oh" as a waiter comes towards us. We order our food. He says "mom is trying to get into dads business account".

"That account is mine oldest get the business which is the money that is what the will said" I say get anger.

"I know what you gone do" he says looking like my evil partner in crime. I said "take her to court". He said "okay" and started eating.

"What's happening with you and Keyshawn?"

"I don't even know nigga fuck with me one day don't the next. I'm not here for the wishy washy shit. Imma hit him up tomorrow tho" I say digging into my food.

We finished lunch and I went back to the house.

When I got there Ken was on the couch with his girlfriend. I ain't even finna say none cause the kiss ain't none.

But he need to keep his distance before like Jhené I hypnotize you with pussy. I'm too damn funny. I put mimi done for a nap.

I went into the front room where the were at and told Ken "I put Mimi down for a nap I gotta go handle something so watch her till I come back".

He said "okay" then went back to watching the movie.

I changed into a Nike jogging suit and walked out.

I got into the car I had to go back to my moms house to get some papers for the case. If I was going to win I need to go back.

I pulled up to the house. I called Jackson to come. I waited outside my car that's when he pulled up.

He got out the car and said "you ready". I said " yeah let's get this over with".

We walked inside my mom was sleeping the couch. Star was never home during the day so it didn't matter. We walked into made dads old off I pulled out a file labeled business account. I then grabbed all the files he had on things that would go to me.

After I walked out. Jackson gave me a hug then we split.

I went back to the house but something felt off. I walked in dropped everything down on the counter I saw Mimi playing on the top of the tv.

Where the fuck is dis clown at.

Jason and Shayla came running in the house with there playmate's mother. I said "umm can you take them out for ice cream for about 30 minutes all on me" handing her a 50 she nods.

I said "now Mimi to go kill your dumb older brother".

I put her in her high chair with a tv show on.

I walk into kens room where him and his girl were making out. The girl said "don't you see us doing some".

I said "bitch get out".

She got up "don't mind if i do".

She walked out.

I said "now for you Mimi would have got hurt. When I found her she was playing on the top of the tv stand. You are so stupid I'll make this my last time leaving you alone with them. I leave to do something fucking important and you can't wait an hour to fuck. Man I see why yo mama hired someone to watch them cause you something else".

He starts saying "queen I'm sorry I'm so sorry".

I walked out. I started to go cook dinner. While cooking Jason and Shayla came home and started looking over the files.

I set up a meeting with my lawyer well my dads lawyer so we can make a case.

The kids ate I gave Mimi a bath then all the kids went to bed.

But I stayed up. I couldn't go to sleep. Something wasn't write about one of the papers. It says I past off the business account to my mother. But I never seen nor sign that paper.

All of a sudden Ken walks in. In a low voice he says "Queen". I say "what" looking at him irritated. He says "I'm sorry i really do mean it". "Yeah it's doesn't change none I shouldn't have left you in the house with her dats my fault for trusting your ass" I say looking back down at the paper.

He looks at me then the floor saying "I told chyna what I did". Chyna is his girlfriend.

"okay dats great for you it's late go to bed" looking down at the papers still confused.

He turns and walks around. I pack up all the papers and went to the room. I was getting tired so I started to fall asleep. Then I was out.
