Morning finally came. But....almost everyone woke up wishing that it would be night, why? Of course, it's when the giver comes and gives each and every Troll a present!
Poppy got up and looked at her calendar and gasped. "Today's the giver day?!" (I think that's what the holiday is called 😂) She quickly ran over to Branch's bunker and started knocking on his mat.
"Braaaaaanch! Open up!" At this point she was pretty much using her fist until he finally opened.
"I'm busy so you can't come i-..Poppy? What are you doing here?" Branch looked like he didn't sleep in a week.
"Woah, what happened to you?" Poppy gasped. "Are you sick?!"
"Wha-of course not! Why are you asking-wait...." Branch let Poppy in and went all the way to the bathroom to look at himself in the mirror. "Oh wow, I do look sick. But don't worry I'm not, I was just....kinda busy all night"
"So you were awake all night?!"
"Hey, being the gifter is hard" he said, frowning a little.
"It's the giver" Poppy smirked.
"Oh yadda yadda" he walked into his room as Poppy followed him. "Well, I'm almost done, I just need to get 1,456 more presents wrapped and that's it"
"Wait....1,456 presents?!"
"Well..yeah, it's kinda hard, especially when you don't know how to wrap any" Branch laughed a little.
Poppy suddenly had an idea. "Hey Branch?"
"Yeah?"
"You know...I just thought of something..."
"What's that?"
"I was thinking I could help you"
Branch turned around to look at her. "With the presents, or..."
"Well, a lot of Trolls live here, I bet you might need some help" Poppy smirked.
"....you know, I guess you're right." He smirked back. "But how are you not going to get noticed?"
"I may have a hoodie in my closet....and I can just ask the twins to make me a pair of sunglasses and then I can paint them a different color, maybe that'll do, right?"
"That's great!" Branch smiled at her as Poppy smiled back. She suddenly widened her eyes.
"What's wrong?"
"I have to make the announcement of finding the giver or if not the whole village might find out that I found out!"
"Found out...who's the giver?"
"Yeah! I'll be back in a few minutes, are you going to stay here?"
"Umm....I might go once I'm done with a few more presents"
"Oh okay then...see ya there, giver" Poppy playfully smirked.
"Sure thing, giver number 2" Branch smirked back as they both laughed. Once Poppy left, Branch started to wrap a few more presents.
