{10:30pm}: Serena, Jenny & Blair had now been at the Prom for two hours. They danced, laughed, drank and partied. It was now time for the King and Queen announcement, so the headteacher, Ms Woods, stood up on stage and started talking.
"... and therefore, the King and Queen for this years school gala are... NATE AND BLAIR!"
"Oh my God, congratulations Blair!" Jenny says excitedly whilst hugging Blair
"Who else would it be hey? Congratulations B!"
So Blair and Nate walk up on stage to accept their crowns. After doing so, both Blair and Nate walk off to a private room to get pictures taken for the yearbook. Meanwhile back in the main hall..
"Jenny, i'm so scared about Dan." says Serena
"I know, me too. But hey, at least my dads gone to check for him."
"Yeah true, but I just don't-"
whilst Serena was speaking, she gets interrupted by a text on her phone that reads,
'I'm so sorry Serena. Thank you for everything. Tell my Dad & Jenny I love them. Dan x'
"OH MY GOD JENNY! I JUST GOT A MESSAGE FROM DAN, LOOK."
Jenny reads the message and once she does, tears start forming in her eyes.
"We need to go and find him NOW!" says Serena in a scared tone."
Both Serena & Jenny start running toward the exit of the school, when they bump into Blair.
"S, where are you going?"
"Dan's in trouble. Hey look i'll explain later just please, stay and enjoy your night and don't tell anyone. I'll call you later."
Serena and Jenny get into a taxi and tell him to go to Rhode Island.
{2 hours later}:
Serena and Jenny arrive in Rhode Island & they decide to go to allison's house. Once they arrive, they burst through the door to see Rufus sat down on the couch.
"Jenny? what are you doing here?" Rufus asks
"Mom. Dad. Have you found Dan yet?" says Jenny
"No we still haven't found him. We've tried everything."
"Allison, I know you don't know me but I'm Serena & I'm one of Dan's... friends. But he sent me this text about a few hours ago."
Both Rufus and Allison look at the text and then they both look up at Serena.
"WHY THE HELL DIDN"T YOU TELL US BEFORE SERENA?"
"Rufus please, calm down. Look, if I'd have told you, Dan wouldn't have ever forgiven me and-"
"Forgiven you? FORGIVEN YOU? HE COULD BE DEAD!"
There was then a moment of silence.. then,
*PING*
Serena gets another text from Dan that reads,
'I've thought long and hard about this & i can't do it anymore. So i wanna meet you before i, you know. 48th on westbrooke. I'll give you an hour. Dan x'
Everyone rushes out the house and they all get into allisons car. Once they arrive at the address, Serena runs up to the roof on her own where she sees Dan sat on the edge of the tall building with his legs hanging off the side.
"DAN!" Serena says whilst running toward him.
Dan stands up from the side and runs toward Serena and gives her a massive hug.
"What are you doing? I thought you came here to talk to your Mom and apologise?"
"I did. But once I got there, my Mom slammed the door in my face and told me that she never wanted to see me again. She even said that she wishes it was me that died."
"Oh my god, Dan, i'm so sorry."
After Serena says this, Rufus, Jenny and Allsion all burst through the door and Dan quickly stands up & runs toward the edge of the building again.
"DAN! STOP!" Rufus shouts
"WHY ARE YOU ALL HERE? I ONLY WANTED TO SPEAK WITH SERENA!"
"Dan, please, be careful." says Jenny whilst almost crying
"And Mom.. Mom's here? I thought you never wanted to see me again and you wished i died instead of grandma?"
"Dan baby, i"m so sorry for saying that. Yes i'll never forgive you for what you did, but i should've never said that, especially to my own son.. i.. i'm sorry!"
"Well i'll never accept your apology. I'm done with you! I'm done with all of you. I made a mistake and i should pay for it."
Dan turns around and faces the edge of the building.
The next thing you hear is all the screams of Rufus, Serena, Jenny & Allison put together,
"NOOOO!!"
Meanwhile, back at the prom. Blair and Nate are just finishing up taking pictures for the yearbook.
"What happened to Serena and Jenny?" asks Nate
"Oh, Dan's in trouble so they went to help him."
"Ahh right okay. Well listen, i've got a little surprise for you waiting up on the roof. Meet me there in 5 okay?"
{5 minutes later}:
Blair starts walking up the stairs toward the roof. Whilst she is doing that, she can see rose petals laid out all over the floor, and she can hear the distant sound of music playing. Specifically her favourite song 'No One' by Alicia Keys. Once she gets to the top, she opens the door and sees roses, lights and Nate stood there holding a ring box in his hand. Blair walks closer and closer until she reaches Nate and stops.
"Blair. I can't believe that i'm even doing this right now. Life's too short for me not to. I have always loved you. Even when i went to LA, i couldn't stop thinking about you, and i know we've just gotten back together, but it feels so natural to me. I have never loved anyone as much as i love you & i can see us spending our lives together. So Blair.."
He then gets down on one knee and says,
"Will you marry me?"
Talk about a plot twist. We really didn't see this one coming. Looks like Nate and Blair are ready to settle down, but on the other hand, looks like Dan is ready to jump down. God, i always love prom, but whats prom without a side of drama? Lets see how this one ends, but in Dan's case, lets hope not. xoxo, Gossip Girl!
