After a day of work and picking up the hybrid, you stood in the same place where you were with the corgi hybrid a few days earlier. The vet's office. Though compared to Jimin, Seokjin was really calm. He followed you into the building and to the receptionist desk.
"Hello, what can I do for you today?" The receptionist asked with a bright smile.
"Um, I came here for some shots for my hybrid and to register." You said.
They nodded, grabbing a clipboard. "Ok, please fill out these forms." They handed you the clipboard.
You took it and led Jin to two empty seats right next to you. You sat down and clicked the pen to fill out the papers. Quickly, you filled out the basic information. Name... Address... Phone number... You continued to put down the information as Jin watched you with a serene expression on his face. That is until he heard a slight noise.
Seokjin looked away from you and glanced around everywhere to where he heard the noise. He heard a slight hiss from somewhere. Finally his eyes landed on a man on the opposite side of where you were sitting who was holding a carrier. Letting his eyesight adjust to the darkness of the carrier, he spotted two black eyes that reflected off the little light that seeped in. He tilted his head to hear better and he heard the same hissing sound. A flicker of the tongue could be seen.
Jin looked away back towards you as you suddenly got up. Telling him that he had to stay, he waited patiently as you went back to the desk. He took once more glance at the carrier and saw that the hybrid in there follow your movement. He didn't like that. If you would have let him, he'd turned into a falcon and go after his prey.
After a couple of minutes you returned. "We'll be in a little while and after all this we'll get you some bigger clothes and a tag, ok?"
Jin let a huge smile appear on his face, realizing that you were going to adopt him. "Ok."
A few minutes later, an assistant called you to the back. You got up and out of nervousness, Jin held onto your hand. You followed to a small room and had Jin sit down on the cushioned seat for examinations. "The vet will be here in a few minutes." The assistant said as they typed into the computer.
"Ok thank you." You replied as they gave you a smile and walked out of the room. Jin glanced around the room, his hand tightening around yours. "Don't worry." You let your thumb caress over his hand in a soothing manner. "It'll be over quick, she's going to make sure your healthy."
Jin stared right into your eyes, completely trusting you. After a couple minutes, there was a knock at the door and the vet finally walked in. "Hello," She smiled and placed her small laptop on a nearby table. "Ah, you were here last time with that cute little corgi hybrid right?"
"Oh, yes." You smiled, feeling proud of your other hybrid.
She laughed. "Yeah he was adorable but really scared of needles. You just adopted him?" She asked as she came near with a welcoming smile.
"Yeah." You confirmed. She nodded at you before asking Jin, "Can you tell me what hybrid you are, sweetie?" She talked softly as if she was talking to a frightened child.
"A falcon." Seokjin responded, watching her every move.
The vet put on her stethoscope. "Deep breaths, ok?" Then she placed the end of it under his shirt against his back. Jin obeyed taking deep breaths. Satisfied, the vet pulled away and typed something on the computer. "Just a couple more things and we'll be done, ok?"
Seokjin immediately turned to you. "Can we leave?"
You laughed and stroked Jin's fluffy hair. "Not yet. Afterwards."
Seokjin pouted and put on an emotionless expression for the vet. "Go ahead."
The vet smiled at your hybrid. "Very dramatic, hm?" She did a couple more tests checking for muscle reflexes and any signs to see if he was unhealthy. "Oh, he's very young, isn't he? He's probably only a few years older than your corgi." She commented. "That means he'll probably be active during his heats."
'Oh no. Active like Jimin?' You thought. "Oh, really?" You continued the conversation.
She nodded as she prepared a couple of vaccines that were in a locked cabinet. "Yeah, it seems like he may be a little less active than the corgi but none less he'll still be active than most hybrids." The vet put on some gloves and put the needles with the vaccines on a rolling table which she pushed over.
"Still, their heats will probably be maybe about five days apart? You'll need to record them and be prepared for when they happen." Then she took out a sanitizing wipe to wipe an area on Jin's arm.
"How long do they usually last?" You asked as Jin decided to squeeze your hand.
"For most dog hybrids, about once every four weeks and they last three days." She injected one of the vaccines already as you felt a bit of Jin's talons growing from his fingernails. How strange. Maybe he could grow his talons from his hands and feet?
"Usually for birds," your vet continued while she injected the other one. "It depends on the species. Falcons are once every five weeks but last five days." She injected the last one and pulled away. "Just remember to record them and you'll be fine." She put on a small bandage and threw away her gloves.
"Alright, thank you." You gratefully smiled at her.
"No problem, it's my job." She gathered her computer. "We already sent an email so you can register and grab a tag. Have a nice day you guys." Then left them room as you wished her the same.
"Ready?" You turned to Seokjin.
"Sure, I don't want to come here ever again." He stood up and you grabbed his hand. The two of you walked out of the vet's office. What a dramatic falcon you have.

"You can pick whichever one you want." You told Jin as he stared at the numerous collars on the wall. Currently, the hybrid clothes shop (where you got some clothes for Jimin) got a new wall for collars and so here you were.
His eyes flickered around the thick collars, for the more "dangerous" hybrids, collars for the aquatic hybrids that had little misters to be directly placed near the gills, and a few small thin ones that ranged for small animals to birds. Jin picked up a thin dark blue collar and held it out for you. "Is this ok?"
"Is that the one you want?" You asked him. He looked at it in his hands and nodded shyly.
You smiled at him. "Alright, let's get some clothes." Seokjin shyly smiled back at you before you grabbed some clothes in a size that you thought you may fit him. At least Jin wasn't as picky as Jimin.
