(ZEE POV)

I ran alongside the stretcher that was currently taking Dean to the E.R, holding on tightly to one of the handles, a few nurses, doctors and surgeons were pushing him to an open room.

"Ma'am you're gonna have to let go."

I ignored her, staring at her. She repeated herself more stern this time.

"LET. GO."

I snapped out of it and nodded, burying my face in my hands as I sat down in a chair in the lobby. Sam, Alice, and Bobby said they'd be here soon. And I don't know where Cas and Miya are. Hell, if they'd even show up. We'd only just met them.

A few hours later a doctor came in holding a clipboard and he had a stern expression.

"Are you miss Zeeriana Winchester?"
My eyes widened and I stared at him.

"No. No I'm Zeeriana Valentine. I'm his... Uh.. best friend."

"Hm. I see. Well Miss Valentine, I'm sorry to inform you. It doesn't look very good. The wounds are worse then we thought. He has about a week."

I gasped and tears streamed down my face.

"Wh- a a year? No there's gotta be something you can do! Anything?"

"We can't work miracles, and we can't save everyone."

I glared as the doctor walked away and a few minutes later Sam and Alice made it into the lobby.

"Hey. Hey... How is he? We got the call." Sam asked. He'd been sweating and Alice had to squeeze his hand to calm him down.

"He uh. He has one week Sam. Just a week."

Sam sighed, running his fingers through his hair. He sat down in a chair and Alice sat down in one next to him.

I walked to the lady at the front desk, she had a smile on her face but it faded to a frown when she saw I had tears in my eyes.

"What room is Dean Winchester in?"

She pointed down a hallway to the left.

"Room 376. I think one of our nurses said he's awake. He's asking for a Zeeriana?"

"That's me. Thank you so much."

She nodded and I began running down the hallways, nearly bumping into things and people.

Room  372.. 374 376! Got it!

I reached for the doorknob, then took my hand away. I took a deep breath and opened it. Dean's head perked up and he smiled.

"You actually came?"

"Well... Yeah? Why wouldn't I?"

I asked as I looked at him, sitting down on a chair a few feet away from him. He frowned and looked at the ceiling.

"Why me?"

"What?"

"Why me. Huh? Selling your soul for me, not telling me afterwards. And then what? You ran off and wanted to die. Cause of me. Huh? Ain't that right?"

He glared and I looked at him with a friend and I didn't answer.

"Yeah case you've done the same shit for me. For Sam. I'd do it for Alice. You're so goddamn self sacrificial that you get an attitude when someone else tries to save you! We're both right! And yet... We're both wrong."

He looked back at the ceiling and I could see tears forming in his eyes.

"I went to hell for you. And you're honestly gonna ask if I care? Because if that's how it is you can forget it."
