The queen and Lailla entered the room. William, Catherine, Harry and Richard were around the table having breakfast.

"Sit beside me sister," called William in an excited voice. He wanted her to sit in the empty seat between him and Catherine, so that she could be near him.

"Ah sure, I'll sit beside you," she responded standing at the doorway. Catherine rolled her eyes as of she was being possessed.

"Is something wrong Catherine?" asked the queen still standing beside Lailla.

"Mother!" called Catherine who was rather surprised at the sudden change in her mother's attitude.

"Yes?" asked the queen, "Is there a problem?" she asked firmly.

"No there is not," she answered politely while looking at her mother with a puzzled look on her face.

"Well, Lailla take the seat between your siblings and enjoy some breakfast," commanded the queen.

"Hi guys," she greeted the boys sitting opposite her siblings around the table.

"Good morning," they answered in unison.

"Today is a happy day to see your face sister," said William happily kicking his feet rapidly under the table.

"Aww, same here little man" said Lailla in awe, "seeing you is the best way to start my day." He smiled broadly and so did the queen.

"Its rather rare seeing you nowadays Lailla," said Harry looking up at her from his bowl.

"Yeahh..." said Lailla awkwardly, watching his brother Richard, on his left,  trying to slice the porridge with his butter knife. "Is he okay?" she asked concerned.

"Give him some time he'll figure it out soon," he said reassuring her.

"Are you sure?" she asked, Richard looked very focused and determined on slicing his porridge, completely ignoring the conversation about him.

"I think so, I haven't seen him slicing water lately, so I'm guessing he learnt that lesson," he looked over at Lailla laughing without making a sound as to not offend his brother.

"As I was saying, why did you not eat with us?" Harry asked her. Lailla didn't respond instead she played with the bread in her hand, breaking it in smaller pieces and dropping it in her bowl.

"Let's not dig up any uncomfortable memories around the table," interrupted the queen, "Let us enjoy our breakfast and get going with our day."

"Yes, your highness," they replied together. Lailla was quite relieved, she took a big spoonful of her porridge and began to stuff her face.

After breakfast Lailla went to her room and tried to call her mother.

"Ugh what's her number again?" she said sitting on her bed with her legs crossed, looking up at the roof of her bedroom with her head titled back. "got it!" she said, "221, no 212" she finally dialed the correct number but got her mailbox. "Mom's not picking up her phone" she thought, "I wish I memorized the home phone number" she said frustrated with herself, "then I could ring her on it."

THUD! Someone knocked on the door heavily. "Come in!" cried Lailla, "It's open."

"I do not wish to, I'm just here to relay a message from MOTHER!" said Catherine in a nasty tone, "that father is here!" she said harshly and stomped away. Her little feet created such power that the door shook.

"Well okay" Lailla said to herself in dismay, she didn't like when Catherine was mean to her but at least she knocked on her door, even as hard as she did. She got out of bed and walked slowly but eagerly to the main hall where her dad was.
