Insomnia

"hold on, okay? Somethings going on outside" Sean said,

"what do you mean? Hey!" Replied Lyla,

"Sean?"

Suddenly she can look outside, to where the Diaz brothers are. There was Brett, seemingly threatening Daniel until Sean stepped in, "what the fuck is going on". She can hear Daniels pleads, she wanted to be there, to put up with Brett. But for some reason she can only watch the scene unfold from afar. It looks like Brett set Sean off, and suddenly Sean punched Brett straight in the face. She wanted to close her mouth, but she can't feel her hands."oh Daniel" She wanted to grab Daniels hand and run from the scene but she can only watch. Brett falls with another punch from Sean, and when he hit the ground, he started having a seizure, "whatthefuck whatthefuck whatthefuck whatthefuck-", cried out Lyla. Sean started to freak out and called Daniel to help him, suddenly there was this cop that pulled up, freaking out the Diaz brothers even more.

Esteban came out to see what's going on but were only met with the confused orders from the cop. He's trying to defuse the situation but it only escalates. Oh how she wanted to take Daniel and Sean away, but she can only watch. Fucking cop suddenly pulled out his gun and started pointing. Until "NO!" BANG..

Everything was black, then everything came back, and everything was a mess. Sean was lying on the ground, everyone was lying on the ground, then, Esteban, blood all over him. Guess the cop fucking shot him. Shit, she wanted to cry so bad, but she cant feel anything. Suddenly Sean was awake, shocked, at the surrounding."Sean! Sean can you hear me Sean?! Please for fucks sake! im here!" She can see his tears, his eyes, how she wanted to hug him, punch him, kiss him, whatever just to touch him, comfort him, but she fucking cant, she can only watch. Sean was devastated, seeing his dad, dead, then he carried Daniel up, desperately trying to wake him up "fuck-" , and then he ran, ran away. And everything became black.

She jolted awake,"Sean!", then she realized it was only a dream. "Oh Sean.."

Lyla kept still for a bit, then she grabbed her phone without hesitation, immediately texting Sean, "Sean?". Obviously Sean was asleep, she thought.

2 AM, its still 2 AM, she felt like she cant sleep anymore. "cant sleep now, what do I do" , Thinking about her nightmare and- them, definitely wont bring her to sleep again.

Unexpectedly, she heard her phone vibrate "wait what" . She immediately grabbed it and saw the name Sean popped up in the screen. Lyla unlocked her phone and was surprised it really was him replying to her text.

"Yeah?", replied Sean

"R u awake?"

"yeah"

"Why are u awake?"

"I was taking a piss then u suddenly txted me"

"another case of it?", Sean continued

"hmm", "Sean?"

"whats up dude?"

"could u come over?"

It was definitely a weird request to ask from him. Lyla was still freaked out because of her nightmare. But, her best friend is up, but why did she have to ask him that? Like, she could have just skyped him.

"yeah, do u want me to bring blankets?"

"If its okay with u"

"wait for me, okay?"

"okay"

She was surprised as all hell when he said yes. He knows shes had insomnia for awhile now and he said once he wanted to at least keep her company when she had another case of it. Lyla felt- weird and- comfort at the same time, knowing Sean is coming over when she cant sleep. Her phone lit up, "im here".
