I woke up to the sound of Layla knocking on my door
"Hey, I was having a good dream!"I shouted at her
"Well, which one would like better, either Have a good dream but not eat dinner or Eat dinner but your good dream is ruined." Layla questioned
"Have a good dream but not eat dinner, Hmph!" I folded my arms
"Alright, We'll not leave some for you." Layla said as she started to close the door slowly
"Actually wait, I'm coming!" I ran out of bed then I realized that I still haven't changed my clothes. Ow, my head is pounding. . . What time is it? I checked my phone. It's already 7??? I'll most likely sleep late. Great .
"Hey sis, When are we gonna play that block game again?" My brother, Spencer asked me as he was chewing his food (Spencer is 7)
" Oh That game... I'll play with you tomorrow, I'm a little busy with school right now." I answered him
"You said the same thing Yesterday." Spencer stated. I frowned, I wanted to spend some time with Spencer but I'm really focused on finding out what happened to Zav. . . She just ghosted me like that.
"Is there something else you're doing?" Layla asked
"Just some. . . Research." I told her
"Why don't you stop doing some research and spend some time with your brother, What do you say?" Mom smiled softly at me. Her eyesight was getting poor as she grew older. So I can see why she wants me to spend some time with Spencer
"Alright, I'll play with Spencer after we finish dinner." I said while Spencer beamed up with joy
"YAYY! NOW I WANT TO FINISH MY VEGGIES" Spencer quickly finished his food which made us laugh
"Careful, You should still eat slowly even if you are excited." Mom said to spencer
"WOKEY~!" Spencer said with a full mouth
"Bad manners keep the girls away. Don't talk with food in your mouth or else you can't have any girl friends~" Layla said, most likely to just tease Spencer. . . Or maybe she's implying something.
"I WANT FRIENDS!" Spencer yelled as he swallowed his food
"Hahaha, That's good." Layla said with a sad smile
"Layla, Is everything alright?" I asked her
"Yeah, Why do you say otherwise?" Layla answered "Well you look sad-" "VALENTINE! LET'S GO PLAY IT NOW!" Spencer cut me off by tugging the end of my shirt "Okay, Okay. I'll be there" I looked at him "Have fun, Make sure the creepers don't blow your house up again." Layla smiled "OH, I'LL MAKE SURE! How do you even keep them away???" I questioned myself as I was walking to Spencer's room.
His room had a baby blue wallpaper with a soft red carpet for the floor. His bed resembled a firetruck while the walls were covered in posters of superheroes. And- JESUS, There are legos on the floor that screams 'DEATH TRAP' I quickly picked the legos up and placed them aside
"You should clean your room sometimes." I told Spencer
"But I don't wanna~" Spencer whined
"Anyways, I'll get my laptop. You go to our private server." I instructed
"Aye Aye, Captain!" Spencer grinned, He had a tooth missing which made him way cuter. I walked to my room and got what I needed then I noticed a photo frame from the corner of my eye. It was a photo of Me, Zav, Layla and Rose. Layla looked happier in the photo... I just really want to know what happened between them and why Zav left me.
