LUKE'S POV
"What the hell." I said.
"Please... please don't run away." She said, looking up at me with colorful eyes.
I looked back at her, examing those eyes. Examining all the glow that was radiating off of her, and the sparks coming from her hands. I just stood, and stared.
"Luke, please. Please don't tell anyone. Please. I don't know what is happening to me." Tears started falling out of her eyes,but they weren't like water. They were golden and shimmering.
"OW!" She squealed. She brought a hand up to her face, wiping away the tear. Then, staring at her fingers which were now covered in gold. She looked back up at me, and just stared, longing for me to say something.
"LUKE!"
"What."
"Luke what is happening to me?"
"I-I don't know.... Stella."
I held out a hand, offering it to her. I didn't care if she would've burned me to ashes, I could see it in those colored orbs. She was hurting. She grabbed onto it, and I pulled her up. I brought her into my arms, and squeezed her. She started sobbing into my chest. Suddenly, all the colors and shimmer seized. She looked like a normal girl again, human.
"What now." She said.
"What do you mean?" I looked down at her.
"I don't even know you, and now you are probably going to run off and tell everyone that I'm a freak."
"No Stella, I swear i won't." I hugged her even tighter now.
"Why are you doing this Luke? Why are you helping me and telling me you won't do something that you know you're going to do. Why did you even chase me, why did you even look at me?" She escaped from my arms, and stood in front of me, with her arms crossed across her chest.
I scratched the back of my head, smiled, and turned around walking away.
"HEY! Where are you going?" She grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
"Home."
"Wait, I don't understand. Why did you follow me just to leave me?"
"Research." I responded. I tore my arm away from her grip, and hastily walked out of the forest. Just leaving her standing there, her eyes boring into the back of me. I started walking faster, and soon enough I reached home. Time to do some research on what the hell just happened.
