As I walked in the courtyard, I saw the coffin my mom was laying down in. All my relatives were there crying, as I felt a tear go down my cheek. My aunt Jonna stood there very serious, as if she were a statue.

After the funeral, we went home. I live in a two thousand year old victorian mansion. "Amy Lilliana Vertha!" Aunt Jonna screeched. "Coming!" I said as I put on my yellow skirt. Dinner was set up on a silver glass table. Food was as disgusting as every night, vegetable ice cream casserole with a hint of ox tongue. "Now eat up!" Aunt Jonna said while she already finished her last crumb. "It is a very big day on Monday! You Amy, are going to..... Miss Layla's Etiquette School For Young Girls!" I stood there with my mouth open, fell of my chair, and started to cry. "How c-could you?!" I said with a sniffle. " How could you not tell me?! My life is ruined!" Then I ran up to my room sobbing.

Some girls may think of this as a wonderful opportunity but, I don't. Then, I smelt some smoke! The kitchen was on fire! I heard Aunt Jonna scream, "AAAAAAAHH!!!" I jumped into action, zig-zagged across the living room, and into the kitchen. "What is going on?? I said, very curious. "Th-there is a f-fire" Aunt Jonna said very frightened. I went closer, and closer, until!.... They were just candles. "AUNT JONNA? THEY ARE JUST CANDLES!!" I was very, VERY annoyed. "Oh, ha, he, ha! I must've known, I think I lit it on by accident! Aunt Jonna said, sounding very dumb. What a very stubborn Aunt. I thought, sometimes I even feel more independent than her.

Then, the doorbell rang, DING-DONG! I opened the door, then there were firemen?? "Why in the world are you people in my house?" I said. "Where is the fire?! I repeat, WHERE IS THE FIRE?!" A tall guy with grey eyes said. I was so worried, why were they in my house? "Aunt Jonna?! I said. "What are you talking about dear? Fine. I called the firemen." Aunt Jonna said dully. "Ugh! Get out! GET OUT!! I almost screamed at the firemen. Then the firemen got out. But wait for it, wait for it! There was a fire on my third to the right neighbour! I guess there was another job for the "super" firemen! I think thats enough fires for today. Gotta sleep goodnight!
