You probably don't even know me yet. My name is Amy Lilliana Vetha. My mom died on my fifth birthday. It started when we were driving to paradise falls for a family vacation with my Aunt Jonna and Uncle Sam. There was a very big traffic but my mom drove too fast. Then we bumped into another car then fliped. Only me and my Aunt Jonna lived.

You are probably wondering how I am so independent and I'm only five. I was known to be a gifted girl. I learn best by watching people. I skipped kindergarden because i was so smart, so now I'm in grade two. I am also good at reading, my teacher said that my level is even higher than a grade 8. So I can read any book I want.

My life is now different, but I am used to it because I used to stay with Aunt Jonna alone at the house when my mom had work. At six o'clock I went to the Raven River-dale library. I found a book called "Every Day Greetings" I was surprised to see that it was a story, than a list of greetings. I looked at the dedication, and it said: For Andrea Vertha. I was starting to cry. "Why did she have to die! WHY??!!" Then people started to look at me. "Oops, my mistake" I felt so embarrassed. As I was signing the book out, a boy with beautiful hazel eyes was looking at me. I almost fainted. But, he caught me. He was really cute. It was six fifty-seven. I was supposed to be home by seven o'clock. Only three minutes to spare! I ran so fast that the boy fell over! I was so worried.

When I arrived home, it was seven o'two. "Amy!" Ah oh. "Why are you late for dinner?" Aunt Jonna said. "Ugh, umm...." She is gonna kill me! "NOOOOOOO!" Wait, did I just say that out loud? "Amy, Amy, Amy... What do I always say when you go out before dinner? You have to be responsible, you have to be...." Blah, Blah, BLAH! Forget what else she said, Its SOOOO boring!

After dinner, It was eight fourty-two. I had an extra six-teen minutes. I went upstairs, and noticed a little tiny note on my bed.
