A Day to Myself

Olivia's POV

It was the next day and I was over at Luke's. He still hasn't talked to Patty. "Luke, please go talk to Patty." I said for the third time that day. "Alright! Alright! I'll go talk to him." Luke said and got up and went to talk to Patty.

About 20 minutes later Luke walked in with a smile on his face. "So...?" I said. "Patty and I are going to go out to the movies and have a bro day! I'm sorry it's all of a sudden." Luke said sitting next to me. "It's okay, I'm just glad you and Patty aren't fighting. You have fun and I'll go home and have some me time." I said and kissed him. "You're the best Olivia. I really do love you." Luke said as we walked down stairs. "I love you too Luke." I said and hugged him. "I'll see you tomorrow." I said and smiled at him. "See you tomorrow." Luke said and I left and went over to my house.

It was now 3 pm. I was so bored. Maybe I should go shopping. I got up off my couch, grabbed my keys and phone and headed to my car.

At the mall

I just got into the first store, Hot Topic. This is my favourite store. I was now just walking around looking at stuff. I accidentally bumped into somebody. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" I said to the person. It was a guy. He was a lot taller than me but we looked about the same age. He had electric blue hair and green eyes. He had a septum piercing and a lip piercing. "No, I wasn't looking where I was going, I'm sorry." He said kindly back. "I-it's okay." I said back. "My name is Oliver." The guy said and I giggled a little. He gave me a sad look. "No! I'm not laughing at your name. It's just my name is Olivia and they just- never mind I should probably g-go." I said and turned around.

Oliver grabbed my shoulder and turned me around. "No it's fine. Can you actually help me?" He asked. "Umm, yeah, what are you looking for?" I asked him. "I'm looking for a birthday present for my girlfriend." He said shyly. "Aw, that's so cute! What does she like?" I asked. "Umm, she wanted a Fall Out Boy band tee." He said. I looked at the band tees and picked out a really nice FOB tee and handed it to him. "There yeah go! I hope she likes it!" I said happily. "Can I like have your number? In a friend way." He said awkwardly. "For sure." I said and gave it to him. "Okay well I better get going now, thank you so much!" Oliver said and then left.

I ended up getting these cat tights and a black and white cat dress. I got some black heels and dark red lipstick as well. Happy with what I had I decided to go back home. It was 4:30 when I got back into the car and 5:00 when I got back home.

When I got into my house I locked the door behind me and then got changed into some comfy pyjamas. I went back down stairs and made myself some popcorn and got myself a glass of root beer. I went into my living room and put on (the movie) The Neighbours.

About half way through the movie there was a knock on my door. I paused my movie and then went to my door. I unlocked it and slowly opened the door. "Hey Olivia." the person said. "Oh hi Karim!" I said happily. "I was extremely bored so I thought maybe I would come over and see if you wanted to hang out?" Karim said. "Yeah for sure, come on in! I was just about to order some pizza." I said and stepped aside so Karim could step in. "Ooooo! Pizza!" Karim said as he kicked off his shoes.

It was now 11 pm and Karim and I were really hyper. We were running around my house pretending to be different celebrities. Right now I was Kesha and he was Harry Styles. "YOU KNOW WE'RE SUPERSTARS! WE ARE WHO WE ARE!" I yelled as Karim yelled the lyrics to What Makes You Beautiful. We both collapsed on my couch when there was another knock on my door. "Let me just get that!" I yelled at Karim making him laugh and fall off my couch.

"Helllllloow" I said as I opened the door. "Hey Olivia." Luke said with a big smile. "LUKE!" I said and hugged him and he laughed. "Who were you yelling at?" He asked. "Oh, Karim came over cause he was bored and we hung out, we were pretending to be celebrities and the he fell off my couch." I said quickly. "Wow, sounds like you had a very interesting night." Luke said laughing. "Why don't you come in and we'll kick Karim out and you can tell me about your night." I said to him. "Okay, sounds good!" Luke said and stepped in. Karim was sitting on the stairs already to leave. "I'm assuming you want some alone time, so I will head back home! It was nice hanging out with you!" Karim said and ran back home. I closed and locked the door and Luke and I went into the living room.

"So tell me about your night" I said with a big smile. "We saw that Annabelle movie, it was really good, scary, but good. Then Patty and I got subway and then went to an arcade and just played games and talked. We had a really good time." Luke said with the biggest grin ever. "I'm glad you had a good time." I said and hugged him. We just laid on the couch, me laying on Luke. My eye lids started getting heavy and I ended up falling asleep. I'm glad Luke and I are happy.
