Chapter XVIII ✔️

All turned around only to see Raj standing there everyone was shocked seeing him there including the king and queen. They both composed themselves and then the court continued its session.

King: I believe that the court agreed for William to be able to run both the empire and country then why have you all created a commotion here today. Or should I say on who's words. He said looking at the duke.

The duke started shivering and decided to leave until Nandini threw a dagger which got his suit caught against the wall. He finally gave up and said.

Duke: I kidnapped the king and queen ten years ago. All gasped shocked. I wanted to be king but this guy took it away from me. He said staring at the Rubert. So I decided to kill him and his entire family but I failed so I kidnapped them and locked them up in the palace west quarters basement. I knew the queen will search everywhere but not her own palace. What I didn't know is that his watch had gps which sent a link to his best friend. They came searching for him he said pointing at Raj I knew I had to do something to make sure things go as planned so I threatened them with their friends life and they agreed to get out but I knew they were pretending. They had called the police so I got them kidnapped and kept them in an abandoned warehouse near the place William lived in during his time in India as Manik Malhotra. William glared at him. He shivered terrified but continued. My plan was to kill William again but this girl ruined everything. He said glaring at Amelia who picked at another dagger which scared him and he looked away like the coward he is. She came in between and got kidnapped instead of him and keeping forty trackers on her. William looks at his girl amazed while she shrugged not caring one bit of anyone's reaction to this. She got my right hand caught but I killed him before he could open up and reveal that it's me behind this. Everything was going perfectly my nephew was supposed to be king not this brat. He said glaring at William again. How did you three escape from my clutches? He said glaring at Rubert, Amanda and Raj.

Amelia got up and started clapping: your plan was well made you fooled everyone but not me. You see the minute I got crowned I re started the search and you helped me.

Duke stared at her in shock thinking how did he help her.

She continued saying: you put two dead bodies in that car making them wear the king and Queen's clothes but you forgot one minute detail. The tattoo both king and Queen have on their wrist. When I saw the images of the dead bodies there were no tattoos. All looked at her in shock as they didn't know about the tattoos. You see king and queen were best friends with my family. I was casually seeing their album when I saw something peaking from the Queen's wrist which I realized was a tattoo similar to the one on King's wrist. They had hidden it from the court so nobody knew they existed. The minute I saw the photos I knew they were alive but in danger still so I used some intel. That's when they all heard boots clicking noise and someone entered holding a drink in hand and said "hello everyone good day" Kabir Dhawan, you see kabir is a hacker along side a chef so I got him to hack into everyone's phones in the palace as I knew it had to be someone on the inside with enough power to capture the king and queen of Denmark. We tracked everyone's locations for a week and you were really suspicious you went to the west wing everyday so one night...

Kabir: I followed you to the west wing with the hidden camera in your jacket. He walks towards the duke and pulls out the camera and microphone that were so small that one cannot make out its existence. He then connected it with a projector while continuing. And this is what I found.
He played the video where you could see him going inside and then torturing the king and queen while trying to rape the queen but couldn't because he got a call. All gasped in shock and William angrily made his way to the duke and punched him repeatedly. Kabir pulled him away. Manik leave him he's not worth it. Manik glared but agreed and Nandini held him down by holding his hand tightly in hers. This recording was so shocking so I immediately got to work. From our observation we made a plan and when you left we rescued the king and queen and hid them in their own chambers since the east wing was closed by the Queen because it pained her to go there. They told us about Raj uncle and niyonika aunty so we got our team to rescue them.

More footsteps are heard and the door opens revealing.

"Hello everyone" said seven people together they looked to see the rest of magical standing there with a smirk on their face along with niyonika who is on a wheelchair. Manik ran to her and hugged her who looked at him weakly. The duke was shocked his plan hadn't worked. He tried running but another dagger stopped him.
Nandini: game over duke. She clapped twice and the guards came in and dragged him away while everyone sighed in relief the bad was gone. Now it's time for a new beginning. Raj and niyonika hugged Amanda and Rubert along with the queen the five of them had a reunion. Manik looked at his girl and smiled a genuine smile and kissed her on the forehead muttering a small thank you. He hugged his friends and they all had a group hug.
Later in the day all are seated in the garden eating dinner celebrating the return of the king and queen along with Raj and niyonika. They were joined with rest of the family which is Amelia's parents, godparents and Sofia. Christian has cried a lot when he saw his parents were alive. He broke down and cried like a baby along with Manik and Amanda and Niyonika had a hard time shushing their two babies. They were happy. Nandini smiled seeing them and then Anusha asked "why didn't you tell me that you both are royals"
Nandini winked and said "can you keep a SECRET".
