I need to keep this on business terms, she's not here to be friends with.
Although she's pretty and seems nice, but me and boys can't risk losing another choreographer. Not to mention I don't want to wear my heart on my sleeve. Especially what happened after Gabbie.
I roll off my bed, going into the bathroom to get ready to relax for the night.
"Hey Jack, I see you've been talking to Allie."
I look to see who was talking to me and I see it's Jonah. "Yeah, just asked her how she's doing with our choreography."
"No you didn't." he looked at me, raising his eyebrows.
"Yes I did," I argued back then walked back into the bathroom to hide the blush creeping onto my face.
"Your conversation says different." I look to see he has my phone in his hand.
"Why are you looking through my phone?!" I rushed over and try to snatch it from him, but with him being a foot taller than me he just holds it up in the air.
"You like her don't you?"
"No, I don't."
"Yes you do, and it's ok to like someone Jack. You can't hide from women forever just because Gabbie fucked you over." he looks down at me with a serious expression on his face.
I pause for a second after he said her name, "I don't like her, I was trying to be friendly."
"Keep telling yourself that," he hands me my phone, "if you like her go for it. I haven't met her but I'm sure she's amazing."
"Whatever," I roll my eyes and turn off my bathroom light, "goodnight."
"Goodnight, Jack." Jonah walks out closing the door behind him and I look at the messages again. I want to like her, but I just can't seem to. I'm too scared of having another relationship like Gabbie and I's.
I lay down in bed and snap a picture to post on Instagram, then post it. I listen to my phone blow up as I slowly drift off, trying not to think about Allie.
